It has been a very eventful couple of months since Jude has started TaeKwondo – and super successful too! When we first enrolled Jude into his first Taekwondo class were were not really sure how it would go but after months of practice and dedication it is pretty clear that Jude is really enjoying this sport but also improving!
Earlier this month he not only got his first orange belt in the Tigers class but his teacher also suggested that he move from the Tigers group to the Tigers Leadership class! What a great accomplishment for Jude.
Jude did great during his orange belt testing even though he was pretty nervous. These belt ceremonies are a lot of fun for the parents because we get to really see how much our kids have retained. It is great to see how much Jude has improved too. He still has a long way to go but the dedication is there! I love seeing him enjoy a sport and activity this much!
Mrs. Turner is Jude’s favorite instructor so it is always great when she gets to present him with his new belt.
So proud!! And ready for the next level of classes!! In the Tiger Leadership class he will get to spar and use weapons – this boy is totally excited for that! We will see how he does in the coming months!
Have you or your children ever participated in Taekwondo? What changes did you see in yourself or child while enrolled in these classes?
I love your son's enthusiasm! My daughter never wanted to participate in taekwondo or any other sport so I didn't push her. I love the discipline that taekwondo instills in its students. Jude will certainly benefit 🙂 plus, he seems to love it!
My middle daughter is really eager to start Karate! I've done a little bit of research and while it does seem like an investment, I think the benefits definitely outweigh the costs. I love your photos…you can see how much your son enjoys it!
This is awesome news! Taekwondo is so rewarding for kids. It's a sport, a philosophy and a martial art all in one.
Congrats on the new belt! My son and daughter both loved Taekwondo when they were little.
Awww congrats on the belt!! Great job! He really is a cutie!
What a little cutie! Congratulations on the belt and I hope that there is a lot more success in his future.
My grandson was in Taekwondo and loved it. It was very good for him to be involved in some type of sport which then led him to go onto basketball and football. Prior to this time, he was way too shy and did not want to get involved in anything.
