Disclosure:  As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador, I receive products, promotional items and educational material to use and share as I see fit. However, any opinions expressed by me are honest and reflect my actual experience.

With the holidays just around the corner I am sure you are all being asked for some gift ideas for your kiddos from grandparents, friends and other family members.  Honestly, that question always throws me off.  I want to give ideas that I know my kids would enjoy and get some good use out of as well.  On top of that I am now leaning towards lots of toys that are educational so the kids are also learning while playing.  As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador I am once again surprised by the EPIC product they have released!

This Android based tablet for kids is customizable and grows with your child – NICE!  We decided to let the Epic be Teagan’s tablet so she was pretty excited about this.  The best part was that we knew that even though she is only 3 years old she would be able to use this tablet – no worries about crazy pop-ups and ads that little ones should not have access too.  Teagan was quick to learn exactly how the Epic worked, so cute!

The Epic has come in handy recently as poor Teagan has been pretty sick for almost two weeks so we have take it with us to doctors appointments.  This tablet is amazing.  It is the perfect for situations like doctors appointments and sick days.  Instead of Teagan sitting around watching random movies and TV shows, she was using the Epic to draw, read, count and listen to music.  LOVE that!
Teagan totally feels like a grown up when she uses her Epic, it truly is a REAL tablet built just for little ones.  LeapFrog knows that if a family has one LeapFrog product they probably have others so it was great to find out that the LeapFrog Epic syncs with our other LeapPads!  That means all of the videos that we have on the LeapPads could be watched on the Epic!

Our kids love the Epic too. I like that it grows with them as they learn and allows them to feel grown up with a tablet- but a tablet that is safe for them to use!

This looks like such a great learning tool! While I know you'd rather be using it somewhere more fun than the doctor's office, that is seriously where I always struggle the most! I'd love to have one of these for them as well as many other times!

I have always loved Leapfrog technology, buying the latest for my kids. Now they are not babies, but they still have the products that helped them learn to read and spell and built their confidence.
