Cheesy Ranch Cornbread
Free printable recipe here.
6 TBSP butter, room temp
1 1/2 Cup Cornmeal
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar – I used a sugar substitute
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 Cups Buttermilk
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 packet ranch dressing mix
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 9×13 baking pan.
2. In medium bowl mix the flour, cornmeal, baking soda, and salt together.
3. In a second mixing bowl cream butter on medium for about 1 minute until butter is fluffy.
My favorite soup to pair this delicious cheesy ranch cornbread with is Progresso® Light Chicken Pot Pie Style. Nothing says comfort food on a cold afternoon like a pot pie but turn it into a wholesome bowl of soup is the perfect twist! It is such a filling and perfect soup to pair with cornbread. Hello comfort food, now bring me that cozy blanket and fluffy socks!
Now, we all love comfort food but let’s be honest, most of those foods are not the best food choices for anyone. Enjoying soups like Progresso® Light Creamy Potato with Bacon & Cheese gives me the option to enjoy a healthy and well-balanced meal.
You can pick up any of these delicious soups at Walmart and from January 1st to the 31st, you can save $1.00 on four when you buy four cans of Progresso® Soups in any flavor. Now that is a good deal and it also means a great time for you to stock up on your favorites!

I love cornbread especially with soups or chili! This recipe sounds absolutely delicious!
This sounds delicious, I do love ranch dressing. The packets can be used for so much more than dressing though. Love the idea.
Cornbread is a family favorite here. I can't wait to try it with cheese and ranch! Thanks!

I love cornbread. I've never made it from scratch, though, usually just from a box. I'm sure including ranch gives it a really great flavor, too.
