As of yesterday morning we have two kids in school! How is that even possible? Teagan started two day half day preschool at the school Jude has been attending for three years. She woke up ready to go and so excited, she grabbed her new butterfly backpack and was begging us to take her. We had to explain that school wasn’t open just yet.
When I asked her what she wants to be when she grows up the answer was simple – A Doctor for Toys!! Adorable!
When I dropped her off at her classroom I really did expect her to get shy and scared but she ran in and greeted her teacher with a big smile. The only time she felt a little shy was when I walked away but there wasn’t any screaming or crying! YAY!!!
The consensus was that she had a “really, really great day!” I love hearing that. In fact, she is pretty sad that she doesn’t get to go to school until Monday now. Bummer!! We are so blessed with a school that is allowing us to do mid-year enrollment because we knew that she wouldn’t be ready for school back in August but now she is so ready!
I am really looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes before summer. Just like Jude she is in a Montessori based preschool program which is amazing! Such a big milestone – hard to believe she is a preschooler now!
Have your kiddos headed back to school since winter break?
I have to say my kids were excited to get back to school this past week to see their friends!
She is so cute, they sure do grow up fast. My son graduated last year so this is our first year of no back to school.
I love her little outfit, too cute! I can't wait until both my kids are in school at the same time.
Oh she looks so adorable! I'm glad she made it with out screaming and hope that the rest of the year goes so great.
So cute! My kids are all back in school. The break was way to fast. I love the sign.
I still remember our first day of preschool. The kids were so excited and I cried. Now we have tons of homework and activities. Now I look back at the simplicity of preschool and want it back – Cristine
