The countdown is on!!  I have found all of my appetizers, snacks and treats to prepare for the Big Game and I cannot wait to get started on those recipes but the biggest task of hosting a Big Game Party is already taken care of too!   Just like every other football Sunday we will be enjoying a family favorite – PIZZA!!

Not only is pizza an easy option for any party but it is a meal that pretty much everyone loves to enjoy while watching football. This year I decided to spice up our normal football pizza by creating a Pizza Dipping Station to enjoy with our DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza.  Our freezer is packed full of these delicious creations for occasions like the Big Game.  The DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza is so simple to prepare it allows me, or any host, to spend less time in the kitchen and more time with family and friends.  Being that we live in Denver I am sure you can imagine that NONE of us will be wanting to spend too much time anywhere other than watching our home team!

To create a perfect Pizza Dipping Station space I decided to decorate a card table with football themed decor and also found a great football bowl set that my dips would fit perfectly into.  With younger kids it is hard to do the whole tailgating thing so finding fun and memorable ways to make our Big Game party unique is the perfect way to get the kids involved and still have fun as a family.

Create a Pizza Dipping Station

This is probably the easiest way to make a Big Game Pizza Party a bit unique. Simply find a few bowls that your dips can be poured into. I found a great football themed one at a local party store. Remember that this fun idea could be used for any occasion, not just on Game Day. For our dipping station we used Ranch Dressing, Marinara Sauce and Garlic & Pesto Dressing.

Prepare your dipping station as your pizzas are baking. Once they are baked completely, as directed on the package, slice the pizzas in small pieces. Another option would be to make squares for ease of dipping.

So simple!!  I know this creative addition to our pizza spread will be a hit with all of our guests, especially the kiddos.  I am sure we will see a number of wrong calls during the Big Game but to make sure the food is a touchdown make the right call by making DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza.  Every time we bake up our favorite DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza it makes our house smell so amazing.  This pizza is high quality and topped with so many yummy ingredients.

To really make our house party ready, I have these pizzas baking before our guests arrive to help set the scene and get those tummies hungry.  DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza can be prepared in 20 minutes or less, simply remove from the freezer and pop into the preheated oven!  No need to thaw the pizzas – touchdown!!

Looks pretty amazing right?  Ready for a slice and a dip?  I know we are!!  Make DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza a centerpiece of your big game party and leave the stress up to the players.  Go into Game Day with a plan that will have you enjoying your party, friends and family instead of playing hostess in the kitchen!

Pizza is a staple of game day in our house, too. It wouldn't be the same without it.

Yummy pizza and loving those dips – I never think to dip pizza, but know plenty who do! My BF in high school used to dip his in apple sauce. YES. Seriously.

We just LOVE pizza at our house as well. Seems like we can never get enough of it and we typically have Digiorno whenever we buy and make it ourselves.

A pizza station is a great idea for game day food. Just about everyone loves pizza. I would love to add a honey blue-cheese dip to my pizza station.

We had to go gluten free, so condiments make up for the not always great crust. This is a good way to do it.

I love this idea! My 4 & 6 year old kids would dominate the sauces lol. They love to dip things. Great idea!
