The countdown is on!! I have found all of my appetizers, snacks and treats to prepare for the Big Game and I cannot wait to get started on those recipes but the biggest task of hosting a Big Game Party is already taken care of too! Just like every other football Sunday we will be enjoying a family favorite – PIZZA!!
Not only is pizza an easy option for any party but it is a meal that pretty much everyone loves to enjoy while watching football. This year I decided to spice up our normal football pizza by creating a Pizza Dipping Station to enjoy with our DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza. Our freezer is packed full of these delicious creations for occasions like the Big Game. The DIGIORNO® Original Rising Crust® pizza is so simple to prepare it allows me, or any host, to spend less time in the kitchen and more time with family and friends. Being that we live in Denver I am sure you can imagine that NONE of us will be wanting to spend too much time anywhere other than watching our home team!
Create a Pizza Dipping Station
This is probably the easiest way to make a Big Game Pizza Party a bit unique. Simply find a few bowls that your dips can be poured into. I found a great football themed one at a local party store. Remember that this fun idea could be used for any occasion, not just on Game Day. For our dipping station we used Ranch Dressing, Marinara Sauce and Garlic & Pesto Dressing.
Prepare your dipping station as your pizzas are baking. Once they are baked completely, as directed on the package, slice the pizzas in small pieces. Another option would be to make squares for ease of dipping.
What dip would you add to this yummy Pizza Dipping Station?
Pizza is my favourite comfort food. Well, actually it's just one of my favourite dishes and truth be told I would eat pizza any day all day. LOL . I love to dip with ranch dressing…Yummy!!
Making me hungry now! I had never thought of creating a Pizza Dipping Station – looks pretty tasty and inspiring – great idea – thank you
I never really dip my pizza but what a fun way to host a party, will have to try it next time.
We love pizza and any excuse to have it lol
Pizza is a staple of game day in our house, too. It wouldn't be the same without it.
I wouldn't need any reason to have a pizza party….but that is the perfect setting for sure.
Yummy pizza and loving those dips – I never think to dip pizza, but know plenty who do! My BF in high school used to dip his in apple sauce. YES. Seriously.
YUM!! We are huge fan of pizza especially Digiorno pizza. I like to add extra veggies to mine.
I am going to have to do this on Sunday! I love dipping my pizza and DiGiorno is on sale this week!
We just LOVE pizza at our house as well. Seems like we can never get enough of it and we typically have Digiorno whenever we buy and make it ourselves.
A pizza station is a great idea for game day food. Just about everyone loves pizza. I would love to add a honey blue-cheese dip to my pizza station.
Yum! I always turn to frozen pizza for a quick weeknight dinner. Especially when there are sports or classes or friends over.
Pizza is a must for game day. Your dipping station idea is a fun one. Guests would like the chance to dip to their hearts content.
We do pizza for events like this alot. But I never thought to add the option of pizza dips. This is a great idea.
I love Super Bowl Sunday. I was just talking to my wife tonight about what to have for the big game. Thanks for the ideas!
I only miss a couple foods on this dang diet and pizza is at the top of my list. Literally this looks so good. I would not add a thing
I had some friends that came over one night and introduced me to eating my pizza with yellow mustard! And I have to say it was pretty good!
Pizza really is a great option for the parties. IT's easy to make, serve and clean up too.
The pizza dipping station seems like a great idea. It is something kids would like all year long!
We had to go gluten free, so condiments make up for the not always great crust. This is a good way to do it.
I love this idea! My 4 & 6 year old kids would dominate the sauces lol. They love to dip things. Great idea!
