Hard to believe that we are already well into March 2016.  I wish I could say that I have had time to read a book every month, but that is not true.  I do have a few on my list that I really want to read in 2016 and hope to give you all a review of those books soon.

Freeing Your Child from Anxiety by Tamar Chansky:

This book will be helpful for our whole family as we navigate the world of having a pretty anxious child.  My coworker says that this book is a great tool and gives a ton of tools to use. Looking forward to this read.

The Unfortunates by Sophie McManus:

I love the plot of this book and since it was ranked the 3rd fiction book in 2015 to read I am excited to add it to my list. A family’s past collides with its present–and undermines its future–in this ambitious debut novel, a thoroughly modern take on a classic story with its echoes of Edith Wharton and an unforgettable matriarch at its center.
Becoming Nicole: The Transformation of an American Family by Amy Ellis Nutt:
A book that I am so interested in reading.  People are becoming more accepting, people are being more open, people are ready to be themselves, even if it goes against the normal.  A powerful story about an American family who goes through a transition with one of their twin boys.
Eleven on Top by Janet Evanovich:
I adore these books.  Stephanie Plum is hilarious and we could totally be friends.  I have read ten of these books and they are the best way to stop, unwind and have some me time.  Stephanie is always finding trouble in the bounty hunter world that has me wanting to read the whole series!  If I can read a few of these this year I will be happy!!
Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty:
This was a book that was given to me two Christmas’s ago.  I really really want to read it and it will happen this year!!  And it is going to be a HBO series soon!  So I have to read it first!! All about marriage, motherhood and family life.

Well that is my short list and I hope to tackle them all, give you reports and have more time to find others for the year too!  Big goals people!!

Please share you top book to read in 2016 – I would love some more great titles to add to my list!

I just put Big Little Lies on hold at my library. I'm finishing "What Alice Forgot" by the same author and it is SO GOOD!

Great list. You definitely need to start Big Little Lies asap. The only problem is that you will NOT want to put it down because it's SO good.

I haven't read anything "for fun" yet in 2016. It's either been assignments or text book readings. Ugh! I need to pick up a "get lost for hours" kinda book and just veg.

I'm adding The Unfortunates to my reading list. It's not my normal genre, but if it's the 3rd highest, it's gotta be worth a read.

Eleven on Top is the first Stephanie Plum book I ever read. I still listen to it in audio format at least once a month. It is so funny!
