Life is full of times that are stressful but goodness knows we all deserve some adult time that includes relaxing. Stress affects us all, and there have been a few close friends of mine who have found themselves in very tense situations lately. I decided it was time for them to straight up relax, but they needed a little push to get them to actually take a moment for themselves.
I decided to create a Straight Up Relaxing Gift Basket for someone that truly needed a way to relax and feel appreciated. One of the first things I decided to add to my gift basket was Snapple® Straight Up™ Tea. I love this tea and knew that she would like it too. Every time I sit down and enjoy a Straight Up™ Tea, I feel like I can re-engage with my to-do list, getting me ready for the next task or event I have in front of me.
Who reads the headlines in gossip magazines when they are running through the checkout line at the grocery store? I do, and wouldn’t it be a treat to actually sit down by yourself with a tea and read those magazines? Yes, I thought so, and that is why I had to include some of the newest gossip magazines in the gift basket as well. Take time for yourself and do nothing but read about the latest gossip and fashion. Relax!
This basket is full of great opportunities to enjoy some relaxing time, and I am hoping that with me providing her with these opportunities, that she has no excuses not to enjoy them. I picked up some body spray, lotion, fancy caramels, chocolates, and cozy socks. Complete the package with one of the two new Sorta Sweet varieties: Honey Green and Rooibos, and let the relaxing begin!
I found an adorable mini journal to add to the gift basket because I know how helpful it is to use a journal to get through stressful seasons in life. I am hopeful that this Straight Up Relaxing Gift Basket will inspire everyone to take some time for themselves. We, especially moms, take on so much in life and often we forget ourselves in the mess. Sip some tea and enjoy the moments to yourself – you deserve it.
I love all of the varieties of Straight Up™ Tea, but I think my favorite is the new Sorta Sweet Honey Green Tea. When I drink this after a long day, it helps me to reset so that I can tackle anything that comes at me. Plus the sleek packaging of Straight Up™ Tea makes it so easy to carry with me on errands.
The following varieties are available at Walmart for $1 now; Snapple® Straight Up™ Tea Sorta Sweet Honey Green, Sorta Sweet Rooibos, Unsweetened, Sorta Sweet, and Sweet. Time to pick your favorite!
How do you make sure you take time to Straight Up Relax?
We recently tried these ice teas too. I love the flavor and I would love to get that basket too.
This basket is full of wonderful ways to relax and unwind! I could sure use some of that myself! That tea sounds delicious too.
I would love to have a basket like this! So many great things to help me sit in a corner and take care of myself.
This is such a great idea! A good one for an over worked mom I know! Thanks!
I have never heard of this tea before. My mom is a huge tea fan and loves trying new kinds so this basket would be perfect for her!
Oh such a neat idea to do the relaxing gift basket. I have not heard of this tea before, I would love to try the Sorta Sweet Honey Green! To relax, I like to take a little walk…always peaceful!
I love this idea. I've had a really stressful start to this year and definitely could use a basket like this!
I've noticed these on the grocery store shelf and been tempted to pick up a few but haven't yet. I'm going to have to try that Sorta Sweet Honey Green Tea eventually because I've had it on my mind and now your post has me craving a taste.
This gift basket is such a great idea! I know a few people who could use one of these. I need to try the Straight Up teas!
I'd love to try these flavors! I think my favorite would be the Sorta Sweet!
I don't take enough time to straight up relax, but I should. I love to read, and in the last year, I've learned to love taking a bath. Surgery made it so that I couldn't take a bath for FOUR MONTHS because my healing process didn't exactly go as planned. Since surgery in October, I have taken one bath, but I need to get back to it now that I'm out of the habit! *client*
