Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but in our home it is honestly the hardest meal for me to prepare and get on the table.  My kids would love it if we could wake them up and have about an hour to wake up before they need to eat, but that is not how our mornings play out so we have some breakfast battles at times.  To combat these battles I have opened up the options of breakfast choices to both Jude and Teagan.  I do put some boundaries around what they choose because we not sending them to school every day after eating a donut!  HA!   We are on a journey to teach our kids how to Eat Better in a Hurry!

I have found that Sprouts Farmers Market is the perfect place to really find some high quality foods but not have to spend a fortune.  I can literally walked into Sprouts and find everything for our meals in some of our favorite brands like Immaculate Baking Company, Cascadian Farm, Annie’s, Larabar and Mountain High.   Yummy!  Not to mention the fresh produce selection is amazing!
Last weekend on our weekly grocery trip I asked the kids what items they wanted to eat for breakfast.  We found some great alternatives to the “junk breakfast food” that they requested.  When we walked out of Sprouts Farmers Market Teagan asked when breakfast was so she could try her food.  I love that!
The kids picked out some Mountain High Original Style Plain Yogurt, Cascadian Farm Cinnamon Crunch Cereal and Immaculate Baking Company Cinnamon Rolls with Icing.  Over the weekend on one of our busy Saturdays I decided to surprise the kids with their selections.

Instead of having the normal bowl of cereal in milk I decided to make a small yogurt parfait with the plain yogurt and Cinnamon Crunch Cereal for a crunchy sweet addition.  This is my new go to breakfast creation.  A great way to incorporate protein from yogurt and give the kids a little sweet cereal too.  So easy too, I like that in the mornings!
I paired the simple cereal yogurt parfaits with the yummy Cinnamon Rolls and Icing.  I love having the Immaculate Baking Company Cinnamon Rolls on hand because it is a great way to have a warm breakfast or treat for the family.  Eating better shouldn’t be difficult and having a place like Sprouts Farmers Market makes it even easier.

Sprouts Better for You Brand Sale is going on now. Head in and find some options that are better for you! You’ll find 35% off all participating items at Sprouts Farmers Market. No code or coupon needed! You can eat better for less! Find even more deals here!
