One piece of advice or statement if you will that I will never forget that my mom said to me when I was dealing with our first sick day with Jude as an infant was this:

“Having a sick child is the worst part of being a parent.”
My mom literally means every form of sickness – from a bad day at school, a cold, or worse.  But, I totally agree with her.  Every time that Jude or Teagan comes down with something I cringe, not just because my little ones are sick but because the parent in me totally changes.  Alert and concern and so much worry.

Just like you, I want the very best for my children every day but when it comes to them not feeling well, I want them to be surrounded with the very best 100%, This is where Little Remedies® comes into play in our house. We have used and loved Little Remedies® since the kids have been babies – Little Remedies® Gripe Water was a godsend! But now there is a new product from Little Remedies® that we have started making sure we have on hand. Little Remedies® Probiotic Plus Electrolytes is a perfect Dietary Supplement for babies and little ones to support digestive health and maintain hydration.  One way we use this is to keep the kiddos hydrated when they aren’t feeling well.  My kids love feeling like they are getting a treat when they are sick with having a popsicle so I decided to get a bit creative the last time we had the bug in our house.  It would perfectly and was so easy!

Little Remedies Probiotic Popsicle

All you need for this “recipe” is a popsicle mold, Little Remedies Probiotics, and water!  So simple!  Yet so effective when those little ones feel under the weather.

Each Little Remedies® Probiotic Plus Electrolyte packet needs to be mixed with 6 ounces of water, so for our popsicle mold it made sense to make two packets worth.
12 ounces of cold water
2 packets of Little Remedies® Probiotic Plus Electrolytes

I simply mixed the Little Remedies® Probiotic Plus Electrolytes into the cold water until it was completely combined and carefully poured the mixture into the molds.

Once the molds are filled, freeze them for at least 4 hours.  Make sure you follow the directions on the box of Little Remedies® Probiotic Plus Electrolytes.  These popsicles should not be kept for longer than a few days.  Prepare only when needed.

My kids love these sick day treats – the berry flavor is a hit with them both.  Really makes the whole hydration issue easier to deal with when they are sick.
While Little Remedies® Probiotic Plus Electrolytes contains electrolytes to provide vital minerals and nutrients to help support hydration*, it also contains 5 billion active cultures of the probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, which helps keep the digestive system in balance and supports immune function.*  Disclosure – we have used this product to help with an upset tummy while taking antibiotics too.

I love this idea! My son always hated drinking anything when he was sick but ice pops were a whole different story! I'll definitely be trying some of this when they get sick!

This is a great idea to get kids to take in more electrolytes. I don't know any child who will say no to a popsicle!

This is what I needed the last time my kids were sick. They didn't want to eat anything! But a Popsicle is a treat in our house. They would have eaten that! -client

What an awesome way to get kids to stay hydrated when sick. This is perfect especially as most time they don't' want to drink.

Popsicles are great ways to soothe throats and give a pick me up when the littles are sick. I like the idea of adding in the probiotic to them!

I love the idea of making popsicles with it. It's so hard to get kids to eat when they're not feeling well.

This is a great way to get liquid in kids. I know my children can't resist a popsicle even when they are sick.
