Free printable recipe here.
Ingredients:
20 baby potatoes – I used dutch yellow
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken tenderloins
2 cans cheddar soup
1 package dry ranch salad dressing mix
pasta – cooked as directed
Directions:
1. Start with the baby potatoes, layer them in the bottom of the slow cooker dish.
2. Place chicken tenderloins on top of potatoes evenly.
3. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix over chicken.
4. Cover chicken and potatoes with cheddar soup.
5. Cook on low for 7 hours or on high for 4 hours.
6. When ready to enjoy, prepare pasta as directed. Top cooked pasta with chicken and potatoes. Enjoy hot!
This recipe was super easy to put together before we headed out for work and the kids loved the cheesy sauce. I did not taste as much ranch flavor as I thought I would – next time I might add another half package of ranch dressing mix.
I love finding super easy slow cooker meals like this.

I also tend to use my slow cooker only in winter, but that recipe does look good to enjoy all year round. I'm sure kids would love it considering it contains cheese and potatoes. It also looks really easy to make!
This dish is kid-approved and I bet adults will also regard it as a simple comfort food that can be easily prepared. I love cheese and I'm interested how it will taste with chicken tenderloins. We'll try this next time!
YUM! I love baby potatoes and Chicken. I use my slow cooker year round and yet have not tried this recipe. I can't wait until tomorrow to try it out. I bet your kids were happy happy. Nothing like Ranch to make ordinary spectacular. Thank you for sharing.
Slow cookers is a must have in my house. I don't have a lot of time to cook after getting off of work running to this practice and that practice. Since you say this is kid approved I will have to try it with my house hold. They tend to be a little bit picky but ranch seems to go with anything so I will have to give a whirl.
These look super good girl! I definitely think I am trying this.
I use my slow cooker all year. Our summers often end up pretty crazy and it is so nice to come inside after a fun-filled day to a home cooked dinner. This Cheesy Ranch Chicken is something my family would gobble up!

I love using slow cooker in preparing our food dinner. I work full time and I love eating home cook food that doesn't require so much work. I do some research and buy healthy cook dinner book to get more ideas. Thanks for this tasty recipe . My husband would love this and so do I.
It is finally in the 80s in Chicago this week, so my slow cooker is taking a break. This Chessy-Ranch Chicken recipe looks delish. My husband thinks he hates ranch, but eats cool-ranch Doritos etc., so I think I will make it and just not say anything about the ranch part and see if he likes it. lol.
Yum! This recipe looks super easy and yummy. Thanks for sharing- I always love easy crock pot recipes. I gotta try this soon!
I have to admit that I'm not fond of using my slow cooker. I can only use it for certain recipes…and besides that I like to season as I cook. Having said that, my kids love pasta and chicken so this would be a winner for them!
