Our TV has been set to all things 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and we are loving it.  We have always been a sports family and have encourages both Jude and Teagan to try all kinds of sports like soccer, t-ball, dance, swimming, gymnastics and taekwondo so it is no surprise that all four of us are enjoying this Olympic season.

While Jude has never been much of a runner he has always enjoyed soccer. Obviously, he is still learning the basics but it is so much fun to see him running down the field with a smile on his face towards the goal. Because he and Teagan have both played soccer they were both very excited to hear that soccer was one of the many sports that would be played in the summer Olympics. I am a huge fan of Alex Morgan from Team USA, she is a great role model for all kids, showing that hard work truly pays off.

As we have these important talks with Jude and Teagan about hard work, dedication and teamwork it makes me want to support our amazing athletes even more.  The role modeling they do for our kids is so important.  Being a good sport is a great character trait to have and I can only hope that with our teaching and support our kids will be able to continue their sporting career in whatever they have fun doing.

When I found out that by buying select P&G items from Walmart would support Team USA I was pretty excited to share that with Jude and Teagan. A few items that I always have on my list are Always® Infinity Pads and Tampax Pearl Regular Tampons. Always pads are made with super absorbent, super light material called FlexFoam™ that can absorb 10X its weight. They offer 100% leak-free protection, they are soft and flexible for the on the go woman and athlete. Tampax tampons, they help stop leaks before they happen and provide protection for up to a maximum of 8 hours, even overnight – the part I love! They have a unique BUILT-IN BACKUP™ Braid, which helps stop leaks by channeling them back into the core and offer FormFit™ protection that gently expands to fit your unique shape.  Both of these products are must haves for me but I also know many athletes need protection like this to play their very best!

I love that your son plays sports. We're not a very athletic family. We tried to get our daughter interested in soccer or something when she was young, but she hated it. During the Olympics is a great time to teach your kids about dreaming big.

My husband was very athletic when growing up-me, not so much! I was more into the arts. I think that now having our kids we will be able to share both of our passions with them-and ultimately let them choose which route they want to follow!

We really enjoy watching the Olympics, too! It is so neat to see just how tough and talented those athletes are. I didn't realize buying P&G products helped support Team USA, good to know!
