Most of us have this but a lot of us do not like talking about it…digestive issues.  Maybe we need to talk about it more often and share with others what works for us.  Recently, I have been really trying to improve my digestive health by integrating a few tips into my daily life – hydration, exercise, smarter diet and maintaining my balance in life.

ProNourish , ProNourish Nutrition Drink, Low FODMAP Diet,
Most of these tips are pretty self explanatory and things that all of us should be following or doing daily but the one that I constantly struggle with is the smarter choices of diet.  Man, I can totally tell when I make those bad choices too – eeek hello tummy troubles. I decided to focus on that tip by making one of my many on the go meals super easy by enjoying a ProNourish™ Nutritional Drink.
What are ProNourish™ Nutritional Drinks?
  • ProNourish is the first low FODMAP nutritional drink of its kind.
  • Specifically designed to include the nutrition you want and is compliant with a low FODMAP diet.
  • 3 grams of fiber
  • 15 grams of high quality protein
  • 25 essential vitamins – like vitamins C and D
  • Contains minerals like calcium and iron
  • Suitable for those with lactose intolerance
  • Gluten free
  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • No sugar alcohols
  • No artificial colors
  • Comes in French Vanilla or Strawberry Banana
  • Purchase at your local Kroger store today!
A whole lot of good in those bottles of ProNourish and the best part is that these mini meals in a bottle are perfect for on the go and keep me feeling fuller longer!
As I was looking at these mini-meal options I was even more interested in the FODMAP diet that it supports.
What is the FODMAP diet?

FODMAP is the acronym for a group of osmotically active, rapidly fermentable, short-chain carbohydrates. It stands for Fermentable Oligo- Di- and Monosaccharides and Polyols.

Examples of FODMAPs are lactose, fructose, sorbitol, mannitol, fructooligosaccharides, and galactooligosaccharides.

Adding these nutritional drinks to your FODMAP diet will make following that diet even easier, plus the drinks are so good.  My favorite is the French Vanilla.  While I am not currently following the FODMAP diet I am looking to make the big leap due to the benefits.  Until then, I will keep these ProNourish drinks on hand on my busy days so I am not tempted with junk food and bad tummy foods.
ProNourish , ProNourish Nutrition Drink, Low FODMAP Diet,

You can find it in the nutritional drink aisle at Kroger next to the diet nutritional drinks and meal replacement bars. ProNourish drink may not be available at every Kroger store yet. So call ahead to make sure it’s available in your area.

What flavor of ProNourish™ Nutritional Drink would you pick up to add to your mini-meals on the go?

I wish I could pick up any flavor of ProNourish Nutritional Drinks! Fortified foods are banned in Denmark, so we have to eat our meals, which as an American, I find very inconvenient ; ) Seriously though, I don't understand what they have against fortified foods… they're a lifesaver for vegetarians and dieters.

These look and sound great! I'm a huge fan of healthy protein drinks, especially those with calcium since I'm not a fan of drinking milk.

Wow! ProNourish hits all of the major selling points with me! I need to get more fiber, protein, and vitamins in my diet but I just can't find anything I really like that is gluten free (I'm highly gluten intolerant). I can't believe I haven't noticed this on my Kroger's shelf before! I'm going shopping this Friday, so I will definitely keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the wonderful heads up!

My oldest son, who is 16, is a cross country runner and we always struggle trying to make sure that he is getting enough nutrients in his diet during running season. I haven't heard of these drinks before, probably because we don't have a Kroger nearby. They just might be worth the drive!

I like the high amount of protein in the drink. That is the most important factor for me.

This looks like something that would be great after my workout sessions. I will have to check out the carb count but I love that it doesn't have any sugar alcohols or high fructose corn syrup in it. That's always a biggie for me. thanks for sharing.

These sound like a really great and still tasty way to keep your digestion healthy and regular.

That seems like a good idea for a meal replacement. I'm diabetic, so I like that it has no sugar added.
