About 5 weeks ago I let you in on a big secret and confession all about our upcoming travels in October. I explained how much I was looking forward to spending sometime at Disneyland and then Jamaica but was so not ready for the pictures that come with these kinds of experiences.
I decided to add alli® weight loss aid to my daily routine along with tracking my food and exercising in order to help me find my picture confidence for our upcoming vacations. Guess what friends? I have an update, one that I am pretty pumped about.
I am down 16 pounds**!!!! 16! Now, while that isn’t the 25 pounds I was hoping for before heading into October, I am thrilled with the success I have had over the summer. I have always been honest on this blog and it is continuing now…summer isn’t easy when you are trying to lose weight. Those fun parties and BBQs can really throw off your whole plan and routine. But, that is why alli® weight loss aid is a great addition to my routine.
What is alli® weight loss aid?
alli® weight loss aid is the only FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss aid on the market. It works by blocking 25% of the fat you eat from being absorbed by your body*.
This over the counter weight loss aid is meant for overweight adults (BMI > 25) who are 18 years or older, not pregnant or breastfeeding and should be taken while practicing a reduced-calorie and low fat diet! I felt accomplished when I knew that I had already been using that diet for over a month before taking alli® weight loss aid.
I simply take one capsule per meal that includes no more that 15 grams of fat per meal, up to 3 times a day. I try to stick with a well-balanced, reduced calorie, low fat diet and activity program. And I also take a multivitamin at bedtime when taking alli® weight loss aid.
As I learned more about the alli® weight loss aid, I knew that I had to really focus on my water intake and that is hard for me – it always has been – but I was totally focused this past couple of weeks and I wanted to really track how I was doing daily; so I created a water tracker sticker that I put in my planner for every week.
Having this in my planner, that I might be slightly attached to, really helps me make sure I am drinking enough water every day. It is pretty rewarding to look back and see all of the days I have completed my water tracker!
While I am certainly not done with my journey I am so happy with the results I have seen over these last few weeks. I will be so excited to share all of our fun pictures from the trips we have planned in October with you. I know that I will look at those photos and have amazing memories and continued goals to more pounds coming off!
The after picture that I was kind of dreading sharing with you when I first started shows me pretty happy, don’t you think? Confidence shows through pictures and knowing that I am doing good for my body only gives me more confidence. Bring on the camera!!
