I have talked about football a lot over the years of this blog because football has always been a huge part of my family growing up but also now as we raise our own children.  Here in Colorado most people think we only cheer on those Denver Broncos but the fact is that we also have a few amazing college football teams that we also enjoy.  This year we are very proud of our CU Buffs – they are ranked!!  Woohoo!  We have had a lot of great Saturday football watching lately with these guys which means we have had a lot of opportunities for some yummy gameday foods.

Most of the time I love preparing appetizers on my own and trying new recipes but there are weekends that I just do not have the time or the energy to do that.  So on those weekends I run to the deep freeze and pull out some of my favorite Foster Farms frozen items.  It is the easiest way to feel gameday ready in no time!

Perfect Foster Farms Gameday Eats:

  • Hot & Spicy Wings
  • Crispy Strips
  • Orange Chicken
  • Mini Corndogs
  • Breast Nuggets
  • Buffalo Strips
  • Honey BBQ Wings
  • Corn Dogs
  • Hot & Spicy Wings

One of the kids favorite Foster Farms items to eat on football day is the Mini Corn Dogs.  They are perfect little appetizers for adults but the perfect Saturday afternoon lunch for younger kiddos.  Bite sized fun for everyone!  Yum!  We especially love that they have honey in the breading.  Nom!!

To really get into the gameday mood we always do little color coordinated decorations and paper-ware for our parties.  This is a super easy way to impress your family and friends.  Simply pick up some team colors for your plates and napkins and if you can find some paper decorations in solid colors as well that will really tie the whole team spirit theme together.

Tackle GameDay with Foster Farms Sweepstakes:

I love having chicken wings during game day. They are always a great crowd pleaser and go with any sides you prepare. I also love mini corn dogs because the kids have fun with those.

I never imagined being a big football fan, but 2 of my boys play Might Mites Football and love it. I finally decided I would need to start enjoying the game since it would be a part of my life for many years. I've found that the food that comes with watching the game is my favorite part! LOL

Being from Texas means we love chips and salsa. Every football game means chips and salsa (and queso if we're lucky!) Hopefully our kids learn to like corndogs someday. I miss eating those!

Mini corn dogs are always a favorite in our house since my four year old is obsessed with them! They are easy to serve for lunch and dinner, but tailgate treats are an option too! I would totally dip them in fresh ranch dressing!

We eat a lot of easy food. Foster Farms is one of our favorite brands. Hubby likes the Buffalo Strips, while the older kiddos like the Crispy Strips. The little guy and I usually fight over the Mini Corndogs.

I don't follow College or Professional Football much. However, both my sons play Football so I've been forced to learn more about the sport over the years. Those corndogs look yummy!

I love all kinds of finger foods on game days. Chicken strips with a variety of dipping sauces are always a favorite accompanied by platters with fresh vegetables, fruits & cheeses.
