This time of the year we look for ways to help those around us in our community who may need a little more support and last night I was able to join CenturyLink and the Denver Broncos for a big celebration of just that! CenturyLink, a leader in technological innovation and service, is improving lives by connecting people to the power of the digital world.

Over the last 17 years The Denver Broncos have partnered with The Denver Rescue Mission for a cookie decorating party during the holiday season but this year there was some added excitement. This year CenturyLink donated over $40,000 worth of new technology to The Denver Rescue Mission – The Crossing facility. This is a huge donation that will help all of the families who use the resources that The Denver Rescue Mission provides.
About The Crossing – Denver Rescue Mission:
The Crossing is the largest location of The Denver Rescue Mission, serving 130 New Life Program men and providing up to 100 rooms for STAR transitional program participants. Bible studies, case management, counseling, and meals allow families and individuals in the programs to save money and develop the life skills and relationships needed to maintain self-sufficiency after graduating from the programs.
CenturyLink provided new computers, laptops, LED monitors, an HD projector and upgraded internet service to The Denver Rescue Mission Youth Center at The Crossing facility.
Once we checked out the great equipment and youth room we were able to mingle with families and employees of The Crossing and meet some of the Denver Broncos before they continued their tradition of decorating cookies with the kids.
Many thanks to CenturyLink, The Denver Broncos and The Denver Rescue Mission Youth Center at The Crossing facility for hosting me last night. I look forward to hearing more about the mission and how the technology CenturyLink provided is helping the programs at the facility.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of CenturyLink. The opinions and text are all mine.
