Disclosure: I was provided with a free screening of La La Land in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
When I was asked to attend the Denver screening of La La Land it was the first I had learned about this new movie. I read about the cast and synopsis and I was so excited to attend. I could tell it was going to be a great movie. I decided to invite my mom to see the movie with me for a little mom and daughter date evening. It turned out to be a really great movie for a mom and daughter date.

As we were driving to the theater we heard on the radio that La La Land had been nominated for SEVEN Golden Globes! What timing! This got us both even more excited to get to the theater.
My Review of La La Land:
La La Land is a refreshing new movie that took us back to the good old days of Hollywood. The music, the costumes, and the settings were simply breath-taking. While the story didn’t end the way I thought it would, I left the theater feeling satisfied with this great movie.
I really enjoy musicals and this was a great twist of a big screen film with a musical and small play. I felt like I was seeing the performance live. I found myself tapping my toes to the jazz sounds and have already had the soundtrack on repeat while at work.
La La Land is such a unique film and deserves every nomination it has received. Through out it all, we are reminded to live and push for those dreams – even when in La La Land (Hollywood).
Make a date to see this film while in the theater!

What a great cast! I'd love to see this. Looks like a fantastic movie!
This looks like something I might enjoy watching with my sisters.
I'm not much of a musical fan – the only one I love is the Sound of Music! Having said that, I LOVE both of these actors, so it would be worth it for me to go and see it!
I never heard about this movie. But sounds like it might be a really good one. Perfect for days like today when it is so cold outside, you want to stay home.
I had never heard of LaLa Land until I read your review. It looks like a great movie and even though I am not a fan of musicals my Mom is so this would be right up her alley. I love Mom and Daughter nights out! Thanks for sharing!
The old days of Hollywood have always intrigued me. I've not heard of this movie before and typically I would automatically say NO to seeing this movie since it is a musical — but the storyline sounds great. I will try to remember to add this to my Must Watch List.
I am not a huge watcher of movies but this sounds like a very interesting flick. On top of that the cast sounds great too!
Emma Stone is kind of amazing so I would see this no matter what! I love the pairing with Ryan Gosling, so this is on my TO WATCH list! I am glad you really liked it.
What an amazing cast! I love period films and this one looks like it's right up my alley! Ryan is super cute!
We love movies but live in the middle of nowhere so we don't get to go too often. I will so put this one on my list. It looks great. I like several of the actors so I know it will be a hit with my crew. Very fun.
This movie looks so, so good! I would love to see it! I saw a trailer on TV and it looked great! Can't wait to get a chance to see it!
