Disclosure: I was provided with Valentine’s cards from Minted in exchange for this post. No other compensation was provided.
Last week I shared our candy-free Pokemon Valentine that Jude will be taking to his classroom but today I am sharing what Teagan is so excitedly taking for her friends! Just like Jude’s Valentines we are making sure we do a candy-free treat for Teagan’s little friends. After looking at the many Classroom Valentines found on Minted I found the perfect card for miss Teagan.
Super cute, right? One-of-a-Kind unicorn classroom valentine! Teagan is loving all things unicorn this year so this is really the perfect little Valentines for her to hand out. Minted is our go to company for our Christmas cards but they offer so many other paper and decor products as well. I was so happy to see these perfectly sized cards for Valentine’s Day. An option like this allows me to be creative with the classroom treats but doesn’t take me a lot of time to put them together.
Just like with Christmas cards, the Minted website is super easy to navigate and find your Valentine. The classroom valentines are 3×3, come with a white envelope, and are printed on luxe paper. Please note that these are not meant to be mailed. There are so many options to choose from! I have so many ideas for the years to come!!
Non-Candy Valentine: One-of-a-Kind Unicorn
Materials Needed:
Small treat bags
Unicorn “rubber ducks”
Tape
Not only are the prints and creative sayings perfect for a classroom valentine but you also have the option of adding some backers. I decided to go with a simple game of Tic Tac Toe on the back of the valentines. This means each kiddo is getting a cute card from Teagan, a game and a fun Unicorn “rubber duck”. Pretty cool treat if you ask me!
Directions:
1. Simply fill each small treat bag with a One-of-a-Kind unicorn classroom valentine and a unicorn.
2. Arrange the bag to show both the card and the unicorn.
3. Using a strip of tape, seal the bag at the top.
So simple!! Minted allows you to personalize these cards and choose different cut out shapes and color schemes for each design. I know that Teagan’s little friends will enjoy these Valentines, even if there isn’t candy in them!
What absolutely LOVELY valentines! I have heard of minted but have yet to try them out. Will need to do that SOON. I love the idea of NO CANDY valentines! So many kids can not HAVE candy and feel left out.
Unfortunately, I didn't get creative this year…but my son did! He made 5 different Valentine's cards for every student in his class. He's only in SK but he is so motivated and meticulous, lol!
This is the kind of gift we can also giveaway to our officemates at work. The price is definitely inexpensive and it's something that can be worthy to be cherished since it's an art. We don't need to buy costly stuff to satisfy.
I love the unicorns! Cracks me up that they are all the rage. 🙂 These Valentine's Card are so cute! I would much prefer the Unicorn Rubber Duck over candy any day!
