I’m sharing Teddy Soft Bakes in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™” #myfirstTeddy #discoverTeddy
Can you feel it? Spring – it’s just around the corner! Time to open those windows, air out the winter blues and head outside for some fresh spring air. We have been blessed with a very mild winter this year here in Colorado, we cannot take that for granted. But over the last few weeks we have seen 70 degree days and we are loving it.
On the spring like days, the kids start asking to go outside and play the moment they wake up. They can feel that fresh air! This time of the year is great, it gives us time to let the kids start playing outside more but we also are able to get some garden and yard work started while they are playing. Kids are easy to please when it comes to spring time activities outside and lets not forget that all at fun and running means nap time goes a lot easier! Nap time for everyone!!
Spring into Spring Activites
Teagan is the goof who pretty much wears her bike helmet the whole time she is outside – safety first! To make outside activities easy for our kids we have a bucket full of balls and yard games that the kids can get things out of on their own. Playing yard game is a great way for the kids to learn new games, burn some energy and learn those tough lessons of not winning everything It is pretty funny to see how the kids make up their own games when they have the chance as well.
One of the best parts about the nicer weather is being able to go outside and play but it is also fun to enjoy snacks or even a picnic in the nice spring sunshine. Recently, my kids have really enjoyed having the Teddy Soft Bakes as their snack. These are great single serving treats that are not only adorable because of the teddy bear shape but they are wholesome snacks that I am happy to enjoy with my kids. After some fun in the sun, the kids always need a little snack to get them moving for a few more hours, Teddy Soft Bakes are great for that mid-day snack.
Jude has never been much of a bike rider but we have made it a goal for him to be training wheels free by this summer! Thank goodness for some warm weather so he can start practicing this skill early! He did such a great job last weekend so I am certain with a few more spring weather weekends we will have a training wheels free zone for this guy!
Don’t have a ton of time? Good old fashioned running will do the trick. On days that we just need to get out into the spring air for a few minutes we let the kids run and race in the back yard. It is a great way for them to get some energy out, get some physical activity and also have some fun together. Plus, the big belly laughs that we get to hear as we watch from the deck is pretty heartwarming.

The first time Jude and Teagan saw the Teddy Soft Bakes they giggled a lot and had smiles from ear to ear The teddy bear shaped treats are pretty adorable. I cannot wait to hand these out as treats at Teagan’s preschool – I know those kids will love them. Teagan decided that the Vanilla filled Teddy is her favorite and Jude is more of a Chocolate filing kind of guy.
I have a feeling that these snacks will be the snack of choice through spring and summer. I love that the kids are picking a snack that I can feel great about letting them enjoy. Wholesome, delicious and a totally kid friendly treat.

What kind of Springtime activities do you kiddos enjoy?
Oh wow…I've never heard of these Teddy Soft Bakes! They look so fun, though. My kids would really enjoy them. My youngest has to bring a snack with him to school everyday. These would be perfect for that. And I'm with you…I love spring, too! Such a great time of renewal!
I didn't know about Soft Teddy Bakes! My son and I both love Teddy Grams (especially the chocolate, yum!), so we'll definitely keep an eye out for these! Your kids are adorable! We're looking forward to warmer days so we can spend more time outside!
Oh my goodness these look so so good. i have never heard of them before but if I had seen them they would be sitting in my cabinet right now. I need to pick up some though because they are really calling my name now! I know my whole family would love these as much as I would!
I love spring time activities with my kids. Everyone is always so happy to get outside, after what feels like a long winter every year. I have yet to try these cakes, but they sure look yummy.
Boy am I ready for Spring. We are experiencing a snow storm this week so I am looking forward to it. The cakes look so good and the shapes are so much fun. Will need to try them.
