Last Christmas I was introduced to “Christmas Crack”, terrible name for a delicious treat. Over the last few months I have been craving that treat but since it wasn’t Christmastime I didn’t think I could make it. Well, one of my coworkers got me thinking in a whole spring fashion and that gave me an idea.
Spring White Chocolate Cracker Toffee

Make the Christmas treat – a spring treat! DONE and done! Same ingredients just different types of chocolate and sprinkles!
Ingredients:
Saltines – I used a sleeve and a half
1 cup butter – 2 sticks
1 cup brown sugar
1 pound almond bark – vanilla
Spring candies and sprinkles
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Layer large baking pan with foil or parchment paper.
3. Place saltines on foil side by side.
4. In a medium sauce pan add butter and brown sugar and heat over medium heat.
5. Let mixture come to a boil and let boil for 5 minutes while constantly stirring mixture. It will burn so keep stirring!
6. Pour butter mixture over crackers.
7. Bake crackers for 8 minutes.
8. While waiting for crackers to be done, melt the almond bark.
9. Remove pan from oven and pour melted almond bark over the crackers evenly.
10. Decorate with sprinkles and candies.
11. Let toffee cool completely and carefully break into pieces.
12. ENJOY!!
I love this creation. It is the best dessert to bring to a party or the office. Everyone loves this recipe and now that I have created a spring option I cannot wait to make a few other seasonal options. YUM!!

OMG this looks so delicious. I cannot wait to make it and it looks super easy to make too. What a great treat to have when you need a sweet pick me up in the middle of the afternoon. And I love the spring color sprinkles on it.
I never thought of making this one with white chocolate!! What a brilliant idea. YUM! This recipe is super simple. We have made the Skor version of it with milk chocolate and score bits. It is a favourite here for sure. Great idea to make a spring variation.
I have not made this before, but I have heard of something similar. I think that I had something similar at a church potluck. It is very sweet but very good, and it makes a fun treat for different holidays.
I would have never thought of using saltines for this kind of recipe but it's absolutely brilliant! How did you even think of something like this?! I totally love it and I must definitely try it.
This is genius .. I never in a million years would have thought about using saltines. I'm also a huge sucker for anything with white chocolate and the pretty sprinkles are fun. My grandson has an event coming up at school .. so I think we'll have a date and make some!
This is an interesting recipe…I would have never thought to put toffee on a cracker!! I love that added crunch that it would give!
I've seen a couple of recipes that use Saltine crackers as a base for sweet treats…and that has me really interested in trying it myself. I would want to try this recipe because of the brown sugar/butter over the crackers. The white chocolate also adds a nice touch.
This looks so tasty! Perfect dessert for Easter… or an Egg Hunt Party 🙂
Yep, I'm definitely going to have to make some of this to take to Easter dinner. My sister has made Christmas Crack, and it's delicious. I like that you turned it into a treat for Spring/Easter.
