I am not sure how this time is already here but it is. Time to start planning Teagan’s birthday party!! She will be turning 5 in October…HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE??? This year she has been pretty obsessed with all things unicorn. You might remember that she asked Santa for a giant unicorn for Christmas and that she picked out a Fluffy Unicorn backpack for school. So I am sure it isn’t a surprise when I announce that we will be hosting a Unicorn Birthday Party for Teagan this year! I started looking for a few items to make sure to add to our party, this one is going to be fun!
Planning A Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Party
We will be having a rainbow unicorn party theme. Again, not a surprise since Teagan’s favorite color is currently RAINBOW! This girl!
This is my favorite part of the planning. Trying to figure out how to incorporate the theme into our food! This is still a work in progress but so far, these are our ideas!
Unicorn Muddy Buddies
Rainbow Veggie Trays
Rainbow Fruit Unicorn Horns
And for the cake! I know how popular the unicorn head and horn cakes are but I am hoping to do something a little more traditional. These are some of my favorites!
Due to Teagan’s birthday being in the fall in Colorado we do not trust the weather so we always have an indoor party. We will be renting out the basement in my kid’s school and it is big enough for an eating area, cake area, play area and craft area. So perfect!!
We will be doing a few unicorn theme crafts that I think the kids will love. I found both of these through Oriental Trading Company – Unicorn Stained Glass and Unicorn Masks.
We usually buy a personalized shirt but this year we are going to let Teagan be a unicorn at her party! I am sure you have seen these amazing Unicorn Leggings online and we cannot wait to get them. I think I will pair them with a nice white shirt.
Teagan has not decided on which invites to use. We have a few weeks until she has to make a decision but these are our two favorites. I am old fashioned and still send out invites in the mail and I always do invites with photos on them. I love seeing the kids grow older on their birthday invitations.
We cannot wait for our fun party. I will share it with you all after we celebrate!!
I would love to hear any Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Party ideas you may have for us!
