A couple weekends ago both Jude and Teagan started fall ball. Teagan will be playing tee-ball and Jude will be playing coach pitch baseball. It was a hot Saturday morning for our first practice/game but they both did great. It is so much fun to see them learning about and playing sports.
Jeremy volunteered to be the coach for both of the kids teams this season so he is a busy guy but loving every minute of it. Due to him being the coaches we decided that we should bring the first after practice/game snacks.
I decided I was going to go healthy and colorful. I made some Rainbow Fruit Bags for both teams. Now, my vision was to have the fruit stay separated in their colors but that didn’t work so well. Maybe a bit of a pinterest fail?? ha! Plus, this was a super early recipe creation the day of the practice/game. See, Teagan’s team plays at 8am on Saturdays! SO EARLY! So for being a bit rushed and tired, these Rainbow Fruit Bags turned out pretty amazing in my opinion and the kids and parents loved them!

Jude is our fruit eater so he was so excited for his after game snack. It was fun to see kids get excited about a bag full of fresh fruit!! Natures candy!! While this took a bit of time in the morning, I am so happy we did this. I had a number of parents thanking me for making a great snack!

Wow what a neat idea! We used to have to bring oranges for soccer, but I really love the idea of the multi-colors of fruits. It is great for a snack and also if a child doesn't like a certain fruit he or she still gets a fruit they are apt to like. I am always amazed at the ideas I find while reading blog posts that I want to say 'why didn't I think of that'? Great idea and Thank you for sharing.
What a cute idea! I love all of the colors and the fact that they are healthy is even better. I bed the kids really love these after a game, it's cooling and refreshing I'm sure!
Very nice idea!! Fruits are Natures candy for sure. It is important to give healthy snack to kids after their sport/play time and this fruit bag is perfect for it. Thank you for sharing!!
Such a good idea to have fruit snacks after a game. I think it is so much healthier than any other food you can give. What a great idea!
All the colors of the rainbow in one package – you're genius! The best part it is high fructose corn syrup free and and can't get anymore natural than that! And all that in a to-go package so you don't have to worry about kids digging into the community bowl with dirty hands – YAY!
I love this! I struggle every day to pack my picky eater's lunch. Most of the time, he doesn't even eat what I pack. I cut fruits and veggies and it just stays in the bag. I love this idea though. Perhaps all the different stacked fruits will help him.
What a really great idea! This is a healthy and fun snack for the kids
This is such a cute idea for lunches or snacks. I am fortunate my family loves fruit.
These are wonderful! and I love all the different fruits you add into
these bags. yum!
