Breakfast, it’s my very favorite meal of the day.  Problem is, I often skip it…well honestly, I skip it more often than not.  I know how silly that is because breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.  As a mom, I make sure my kids never leave the house without a good wholesome and hearty breakfast…I wish I could say the same thing about myself.  Why do moms do this?

Sometimes I need a breakfast that I can walk out the door with and other times I want hot breakfast that doesn’t take me too long to prepare.  While my working lifestyle has certainly changed a lot this year I do have days that my schedule leaves me very little time to eat breakfast or lunch for that matter!  But I have found a great solution for my missing breakfast days!

What is Quaker’s Miller’s Batch™?

This high-quality product is inspired by Quaker’s 140 years of heritage and passion for oats. In the spirit of their founding fathers, they’ve forged partnerships with others passionate about their craft. In search of oats, before they masterfully mill, kiln and roast them in small batches with other delicious ingredients and bring them to us to enjoy!  
From the moment I opened my first packet of Miller’s Batch™ I knew this was going to be a great breakfast option.  I decided to try the Rocky Mountain Harvest multigrain oatmeal blend first.  I wish I could let you smell this bowl of oatmeal!  You can really smell the dried berries and cherries.  YUM!

Delight in organic oats, sourced from a single farm in the golden prairies of Saskatchewan, home to some of the best quality oats in the world. Currently, Miller’s Batch™ is only available in Michigan and Colorado, lucky us!  But with flavor, ingredients and texture like this, it is a delicious breakfast option for me!  So good!  To complete my breakfast, I simply brew my favorite coffee or tea and add a few fresh berries to my bowl of Miller’s Batch™ and enjoy.  Simple yet the perfect way to start my busy day!

The Quaker’s Miller’s Batch™ products are available at your local Kroger store and are located with the other hot cereal items. 
Eating local is always a fun treat, and in most products that you find on the shelf like this you do not have that option but Miller’s Batch™ gives us the chance to enjoy some homegrown goodness.  The Rocky Mountain Harvest flavor has tart yet sweet organic Montgomery cherries grown in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Utah!  Love supporting the Rocky Mountains!

Now that I have tried Miller’s Batch™ I am excited to continue to eat this wholesome oatmeal for breakfast. I have already picked up the California Valley flavor. It has hand-harvested raisins made from Thompson grapes and sun-dried organic almonds from California.  Sounds like a great way to get the morning started off right!

    Hot oatmeal is a comfort food for me, especially with buttered toast. Thanks for sharing this product, it is new to me!

    I don't typically eat breakfast either due to intermittent fasting, but I would eat this oatmeal any time of day. It's such a wholesome comfort food. I think I would definitely want to try the blueberry flavor first.

    I love breakfast too, it's definitely the most important meal of the day! I always have oatmeal and am always on the lookout for new ways to enjoy it; I need to try the Rocky Mountain Harvest as berries are my favourite!

    I have not tried this brand but it sounds really good. Love the blueberry sounds so yummy. My husband really loves oatmeal.

    Wow, Miller's Batch looks like a great option for breakfast! I agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I can't leave the house without having it!

    I only use Quakers. They're so delicious. I always add blueberries and loads of seeds. They're so good for you and keep you full.

    I wish I had gotten my kids use to eating oatmeal 🙁 I grew up with it and for some reason, I didn't push it on my kids cause I know it is so good for them.

    I used to hate oatmeal so much as a kid but as an adult I love it and all the health benefits it has. Such a quick, easy, healthy breakfast!

    I love oatmeal especially now that i'm breast feeding. I'm always looking for good brands that don't have awhole bunch of junk added!
