This post was sponsored Tai Pei, all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

A few weeks ago we took a family vacation to Mexico, it was fantastic but now that we are home Jeremy and I were totally ready for a date night.  Well, reality set in when the kids come down with a terrible cough and cold and we had to get focused on our family budget.  Like I said, it was a great vacation but reality sets in quick!

Date Night In – Budget Friendly

Date nights are essential in a relationship, even those with kiddos.  We have to find times to just sit and talk to each other as adults and enjoy the reasons we love each other.  While it has taken us a few years to really get this we are finally there.  It is okay for parents to feed the kids and put them to bed a bit early so you, as a couple, can enjoy a meal together alone!

Don’t get me wrong, we love going out for dinner on date nights but due to random circumstances sometimes that just isn’t a possibility but that doesn’t mean you should cancel date night.
Break out some fun dishes, pour yourselves a drink and easily prepare an Asian inspired meal in just minutes.  No need to waste your date night on prepping dinner – hey parents understand, moments like this do not come easy!  Our new favorite go-to quick meal is any of the Tai Pei meals.  Often times when you think of “quick meals” the words real, pure and no preservatives are not included in that category. Tai Pei has changed that with these single serving entrees. The all new, great tasting entrees are made with real, pure ingredients, and no preservatives or artificial ingredients.

New packaging also makes Tai Pei quick and simple to prepare in just minutes in the microwave. Tai Pei Asian Food entrees offer a wide range of choices each made with flavor-infused rice. Chicken Fried Rice and Beef and Broccoli are our favorites.  We decided to enjoy some Beef and Broccoli for our date night in.

It was nice to just enjoy a great meal at home, relax and reconnect after a busy few weeks.  Taking this time for date night is growing even more important as our kids grow older, it just seems like we are getting busier and busier.

Beef and Broccoli was one of our favorite dishes. I wish some of these companies would move to making them without the gluten so we could eat it. But the Tai Pei would be nice for the hubby!

We are always looking for budget date nights. Having kids and making memories with them makes it hard to spend a lot on a date. Tai Pei is one of our go to products. I am absolutely sure I have one in my freezer right now.

This looks really good. I never would guess that it came from the freezer section at the grocery store. I can’t wait to try it myself.

Even though we don't have little ones at home anymore, my husband and I still make time for date nights. To be honest, I'd much rather cook at home over going out. It's far less expensive and it gives me a good excuse to up my recipe game. x

The Tai Pei meals look really good and I've seen them in the grocery store. I guess I haven't really bought them because I did not think each container had enough to fee 2 people. I guess I will be trying these from seeing some of the comments that the portions are larger now.

I haven't seen these sorts of Tai Pei meals at the grocery store or at Walmart before. They do look very good though. I will have to be on the lookout for them. They look and sound delicious.
