I wouldn’t consider myself old fashioned in very many instances but when it comes to using that good old fashioned mail box, not the one that says “You’ve Got Mail”, it is my thing! I am that person, I will send you a birthday invitation in the mail, a thank you note or even a “just thinking of you card” because I truly believe in the art of paper correspondence.
That being said, I love holiday card season! I love sending and receiving cards. I totally get giddy when I head to the mailbox every evening!! Please tell me that I am not the only one that feels that way! Ha!! Okay and now back to holiday cards, because I love them so much, the idea of choosing the perfect card takes time. Over the last 4 years we have used Minted and honestly, I would never go any other route.
What is Minted?
Minted is a design marketplace. We source creative content from a global community of independent artists, then sell the best content in the form of art, home décor, and stationery, directly to consumers.
Minted’s community of independent artists and designers are located in all 50 states and more than 60 countries. They are illustrators and textile designers, painters and packaging designers, marketers and stay-at-home moms. Some have design degrees, and others are participating in Minted competitions to learn design for the first time. They share a deep love for creative expression, personal development, risk-taking, and most importantly, paying it forward by helping each other.
Minted’s website is so easy to use that I literally picked my card design, created my card and ordered my card in about 15 minutes. Minted is known for his beautiful options that are always a little bit different the the competitors. I feel like the card options are way more updated and creative than other card companies. I feel the same way about the other gift items. All of the personalized options and even with that, I had my order sent off in just a few minutes.
I'm still a lover of snail mail as well! I also love handmaking cards when I have the time, but ordering Christmas cards to send, definitely alleviates any of that last minute stress that may come from waiting too long!
I have ordered from Minted several times for Christmas, birthday invitations and more. I love being able to personalize the card with pictures and quotes and make it my very own. This year one of my favorite styles is the "hand lettered happiest holidays" holiday cards. That wooden like border is so classic and makes the pics pop.
I'm like a little kid when it comes to getting mail. I still get a kick out of seeing something with my name on it. so Mint is right up my alley.
With my husband in ministry, we send a great deal of Christmas cards. I like taping them over the entry way into the living room. I enjoy sending and receiving the cards!
These cards are beautiful! I still haven't ordered ours so I will definitely take a looked at this brand. Thanks for sharing!
I am definitely going to have to check out Minted when it comes to card design. I know I should be doing family cards more often. It was just my ex's deal when we were together, and I have had a hard time doing that. I did make a power point presentation one year which my daughter loved, but that was a lot of work, and I am not sure whether I have the equipment to do that now. We shall see.
My friend recently ordered her holiday cards through Minted and had an amazing experience. I'd already ordered mine from somewhere else but would definitely be using Minted next time. Your family holiday cards are super adorable!
I haven't heard about Minted before. I'm going to look into it. I love making calendars and cards. This looks like a great place to do just that. Thanks so much for sharing.
