This time of the year, I feel like my immune system always needs a little support. This year I am choosing to do something different and Jeremy is on board with this plan, as well.
We have always been a morning smoothie kind of family. Not only can you hide great fruits and veggies in them but they are also really great on-the-go breakfast options. One of my favorite smoothie recipes includes orange juice, frozen strawberries, and bananas, so good! I decided that I could do a little swapping in this recipe and end up with a SUPER smoothie!!

Ingredients:
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 large banana
6 oz cold water
1 Emergen-C® Super Orange packet
Directions:
1. Add frozen strawberries and banana into a blender, I use the individual serving cup for this recipe.
2. Pour water over fruit.
3. Carefully add the Emergen-C® Super Orange packet to the smoothie.
4. Pulse blender for 30 seconds or until smoothie is blended.
5. Serve right way so it stays chilled.
This recipe creates two servings of the smoothie so you can share with your spouse.
The addition of the Emergen-C® Super Orange to this super smoothie gives the orange flavor that orange juice gives but also allows for an extra immune support. Love it!!

With so many people catching (and sharing!) colds right now, I am definitely wanting to boost my Vitamin C intake. The smoothie sounds perfect for my family, too. And, of course, keeping Emergen-C in the house is a must during the winter.
That smoothie sounds so good. Great flavor combo #client
YES!!! I love that you use your Emergen-C® products in smoothies! I do the same thing! Super smart! We need to be sure we are really taking great care of ourselves all year but even more so in the winter!
WOW, this is a great post! I have a brand new box of Emergen-C and I never thought to add it to a smoothie. With us being in the flu and cold season this is the best time to create a healthy smoothie like this one. The kids love blueberries so I may try adding the Emergen-C to a blueberry smoothie!
Vitamin C is so important for your body in the winter! Sometimes good oranges are hard to find so Emergen-C is a great alternative! I never thought of adding it to a smoothie before! Your smoothie sounds very tasty!
I have been making a green smoothie with orange juice. This seems like a good addition to have around when there is no orange juice in the refrigerator. I like my morning smoothies!
Having 3 kids in school that bring home junk every day this is what we need. My family loves smoothies and we have them often. This is perfect. Thank you for the great recipe!
If you close your eyes when you drink this, it's like you took a time machine back to SUMMER! 😉
