Seems like a tradition for bloggers to announce their word for the year but for some reason that word never found me until the 2017 was gone. Here I am on the first day of 2018 writing out my goals for the new year which soon turned into me finally figuring out what word I really want and NEED to focus on this year.
I have never been a New Years resolution gal because frankly I could never complete resolutions, I found myself failing year after year, how depressing. My resolutions soon turned into goals and those goals have been helpful and healthy for me in the last few years. In fact, one goal I made for 2017 was to turn my blog into a full time career – BOOM, goal met and goal LOVED! So, friends, as I sit here announcing my word of the year – Fulfill – it came to me for many reasons.
My word is Focus. i want to focus more on me, family and work. I want to be here fro my kid before he leaves for college.
This is a great word, and great advice. My word this year is 'do' – I'm very good at making lists, and making plans, but often struggle to actually get everything done. This year, I'm going to make an effort to actually follow through and do everything I say I'm going to.
Affirmation is a great way to fulfill others, great new years blog without using the traditional resolutions theme
Love the idea of a word for the year instead of resolutions. I think keeping the word fulfill in everything you do is a great idea and so fitting to many situations.
That sounds like a great word for this year. I have never chosen a word for myself, but I am definitely making some changes in 2018.
I love this word-fulfill. I think it's a great idea to come up with a word of the year, to help keep one focused on the goals you have set.
Love the word fulfill!
Mine is create — I’m excited to *CREATE* in 2018. I have a few Instagram and social media courses coming up, photography workshops, etc. in the near future.

I absolutely love this. This has now got me thinking about what my word of the year would be. I think the word for 2018 for me will be Persevere.
My word this 2018 is strength. Strength was a constant mantra for me to remind myself that I was strong enough.
It's a very lovely word for the year! I love that you don't only aim to feel fulfilled but you'd like to do it for others as well.
I just posted about this too! My word for 2018 is explore! After 20+ years I shifted careers, and feel like I'm on a new adventure and at the starting area ready to explore what life has to offer.
Fulfill is a great word of the year. Mine is "trust," and I'm really hoping to stick by it in 2018!
That a great word and a great goal. My word is Fear. I need to push myself to do things I am afraid of.
I always have such a hard time picking a word. I love yours! Happy New Year! I am looking forward to following along on your journey to fulfimment.
I love your word! I am choosing KIND, not because I need to be more kind, but because I want to promote it more in my day to day living.
I didn't give this a ton of thought but I would have to say consistency. I tend to drop the ball when it comes to follow through.

I love to hear others words of the year. I am still thinking of mine but I think it is something like Brave. To not be afraid to go the next step.
Fulfill is a great word. I think its one I can relate to as well, I have many things I'd like to fulfill this year and I think I will do it! As long as I stick to it! – Jeanine
