I honestly cannot believe I have been using Stitch Fix for 6 months now. Crazy!! And honestly, I still love this service as much as I did when I got my first fix! I always look at my closet and think about how many of these items are now a staple in my wardrobe.
For my Sixth Stitch Fix I had some specific asks because of an upcoming blog retreat I was going to in San Francisco. Even though the retreat was supposed to be casual I wanted to take advantage of this time and enjoy dressing up a bit so I asked my stylist for some business casual items as well as some items for visiting California in the winter. My stylist did great with this request and I kind of wish I had more reasons to dress up through out the month!
Okay, ready to see what I received for my January Fix?
Item 5 – Renee C Isabelle Shift Dress
Oh my gosh you guys!! I saw this green print and I was in love!!! Oh and the material…so soft! I am always worried about shift dresses looking like tents and not being long enough for my comfort zone but this one was perfect. I paired this dress with off-white sweater socks and tall brown boots at my conference and I got so many complements. I also love the 3/4 length sleeves. Perfect for so many occasions. Yes, you might even catch me wearing this on some random Tuesday because I can and it is that comfortable!! This dress is a size 3x and fits me great, length too!! And it was ONLY $58.00 – HELLO!! No brainer here!!
Verdict – KEPT!!!
Well there you have it! For this fix I kept 3 out of the 5 items. My stylist helped me walk into my retreat with confidence and I didn’t have to go shopping! BOOM!!
Here are a few tips I believe that might be helpful when trying Stitch Fix for the first time.
My Tips:
- Be honest on your profile – list your correct numbers even if it is hard to type those numbers out!
- Do not look at the price card until you try on your items.
- Ask for time capsule pieces – items that can be used from season to season.
- Think outside the box – try something new!
- Request for special events – need a dress for a wedding next month, ask for one!
- Update your price ranges as your budget changes.
Share your referral link – people will sign up and you will get a credit! Basically that means free clothes for you!! Woohoo!

Is Stitch Fix a program you would be interested in using?
Yes, that green dress was so amazing in person! Loved it! I keep wanting to try it, but the prices scare me. I should treat myself!
Yes! You can totally stay on budget too when you build your profile. You really should try it once!! And when you do, share your fix! 🙂
I love that dress. I can see why you kept it!
These all look fabulous on you. I really like the green dress, it goes great with your hair color and eyes. I am not much of a shopper, but I love the idea of clothing being delivered straight to me at home. Interesting service.
I love all of this fix but mostly what you kept is what I would have kept too! That dress is SO pretty!!! I have always loved Stitch Fix and they sure styled you well!
Wow look at you! I have heard of this BUT I have never seen Stitch Fix revealed. So cool! There’s a lot in there. I like this one – > Daniel Rainn Roko Split Neck Blouse – looks good on you. The green dress is super cute too. I wonder if they ship to Canada at all.
OH! I had NO idea Stitch Fix has Plus Size now! This is great news. I am off to it out!
Wow, I love the green dress on you, perfect match! I always fancied trying StitchFix, who doesn’t want clothes delivered to the door without the hassle of shopping?! Like others I worry about the price of the clothes, I’m a bargain hunter and worry I will fall in love with something I can’t afford. I do like the idea of someone picking for me, a way to inspire trying new things… I live in a uniform of jeans and a black t-short most the time and which I was more adventurous!
Oh hun, as always you look all sorts of adorable! I’m with you, the green dress is my favorite out of all of them. It looks great on and would be easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion! So cute with the boots. I also really like the navy top with the print. I’ve been on a bit of a blue/navy kick this winter and would have definitely kept it too! (As always) beautiful you! x
I have always loved their clothes so I am glad they have a box now for curvy ladies. They do such a great job at picking the pieces for you that it is hard not to keep what they send you. I love all the outfits on you. I will check them out soon
Everyone keeps telling me about Stitch Fix. I love that ribbed cardigan and the green dress. I didn’t know they had plus sizes too. My sister would love to try this!
This summer it will be 3 years since I started getting SF. LOVE!!! In the beginning I kept everything. Now I am super picky.
That green dress is perfect on you. And I love both of those tops too.
I agree with your tips. Be willing to try something new. Last month they sent me a pair of white pants. I was like… seriously???? They are my new faves!!
I love the first cardigan. I said I’m going to look into Stitch Fix, but with how busy it’s been getting, I forgot. Thanks for the reminder. I need a wardrobe overhaul. You look great by the way. Love the color of the green dress.
You look gorgeous in all the outfits. I have seen similar services in here but haven’t really tried, it’s so convenient…I don’t really like trying on stuff when shopping so this is really a go for me. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
