Hard to believe that I have been using Stitch Fix for over seven months now. I have talked about it being my obsession but honestly, it has been a way for me to go out of my comfort zone with clothing and also update and clean out my closet. I am 35 years old, I guess it is time to have a more grown up but fashionable wardrobe, that being said, I am thankful for Stitch Fix!
For this particular fix I did not request anything specific from my stylist. While this was not the most successful fix I am still happy with the service and if I had all the money in the world I would purchase all of my complete fixes. This time of the year in Colorado we need both winter and spring clothing so I feel like that is kind of the theme with this one.
Plus Size Stitch Fix
Item 1 – Papermoon – Lonni Crochet Back Knit Tank
When I saw this tank in the box I thought for sure I would be buying it. The color was perfect, I love Navy, and the details around the hem and back were so cute and fun for spring. I was so bummed when I put it on and it was too tight around the hips and too big in the arm holes. It just didn’t fit right and I was so bummed. This tank was a great material too. It retailed at $38.00 – such a steal and this size was a 3x but seemed very fitted around the hips.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 2 – 41 Hawthorn – Marlaina Roll Tab Cardigan
This was another item that once I saw it in the box I was super excited to try it on. I have a love for cardigans and really liked the navy and light orange color on this cardigan. While this was only $54.00 and fit great, because I wasn’t keeping the navy tank, I wasn’t really sure what I would wear this cardigan with. Instead of having to go shopping to find another tank I decided to just send this one back. It was soft, comfortable and fit great at a size 3x.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 3 – Warp & Weft – Hayley Skinny Jean
I love skinny jeans. They are the perfect pant for any season and can be dressed up or dressed down. I was excited to try on a new color of skinny jean that I do not have in my closet yet but I was surprised at how unforgiving this Grey color was on me. The fit of this skinny jean was not as fitted as I like either, they felt a bit long and baggy. I think I could get away with a size smaller. At $98.00 it was an easy item to send back in my opinion.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 4 – Loveappella – Docker Split Back Knit Top
Okay, this top is so fun! Not only does it have POCKETS but the back of the top is split. The material is kind of similar to a sweatshirt but not as thick or bulky. This top is really perfect for this time of the year with so many weather ups and downs. I was excited to wear this with leggings and cute tennis shoes or even with skinny jeans and flats. Such a versatile top and priced at just $58.00! This is a 3x and it fit me perfectly.
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 5 – The Accessory Collective – Monterrey Floral Square Scarf
I have a dresser drawer full of scarves, I wear scarves YEAR round so when I saw this beautiful scarf in my box I was super excited. I loved the colors and accents on the hem but when I tried it on I was totally bummed that it was not an infinity scarf. Call me lazy but man that makes styling scarves so much easier. This scarf was $34.00 which in my opinion is a bit expensive for a scarf as well.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Well there you have it! Seventh Stitch Fix in the books! Another fun fix that I enjoyed trying on.

I like that cardigan and the neck on the hoodie. My niece would love these boxes.
I didn’t know that Stitch Fix did plus sizes! Good to know (I am plus-sized as well). I’ve heard a lot about Stitch Fix but never actually tried them … I’m very hard to fit (I’m like a L or XL top and like an 18 or 20 bottom at this point) so I prefer trying on clothes in person. I know you can send back anything you don’t like though, which is nice.
I love the scarf! When you think about how often you can wear it the price is well worth it. I’m always for new places to buy clothes. Seems like it’s getting more difficult to find cute outfits for women. I’ll have to check it out!
I haven’t worn cardigans in a while, you inspired me to look through my closet and pull them out. I really like the crochet tank top, I have a few similar shirts. That docker split back knit top is calling my name!! I love this one probably the most out of all of them, I have an obsession with sweaters.
I like the knit top with pockets as well, that one I would keep. I do also like the lace trim of the first one. They both looked great on you and I think they look very comfy that I’ll wear them too. I can’t believe this is your 7th already. I’ve been following along and can’t believe you’ve gone through 7 boxes already. Time flies.
You are lovely in the grey top! Well, I see everyone had noted this:) But why don’t you ever accentuate your waist? It looks like you have very feminine proportions. Even not being plus-size, I am a perfect box, haha
Gotta finally try that box out and write a review for EssayJedi. Thank you for motivation!
You win some, you lose some, and every now and then, you’re bound to receive a shipment where everything isn’t a home run. Especially this time of year when you’re right, the weather is back and forth, to say the least. I love the sweatshirt you decided to keep. I have a similar one and have been wearing it nearly every day. x
