Ladies, yes, I am talking to you today! When was the last time you allowed yourself to step out of the mom or wife mode and right into Girl’s Night with your besties? For me, now that I am working from home and have a much more flexible work schedule I have found more of that time but the guilt is there. Do you feel that guilt when you decide to take some ME time? Ugh, I struggle with that still. But the point is, we, ladies, have to make time to enjoy our girlfriends. This spring, I am making it a point to get together with my girlfriends and when I host, you better believe there is going to be some yummy treats involved.
For my first Girl’s Night In gathering, I am planning to pink it up! Just like any of my other parties or recipes this gathering will be easy. The point of Girl’s Night In, is to catch up and reconnect with those special ladies in your life. Recently, I found out how versatile 7UP® is when it comes to drinks and baking. Surprising I know, but you are going to want to try both of these great Girl’s Night In recipes. For additional recipe inspiration with 7UP, visit this website.
A few years ago I shared a family recipe of Grandma’s Lemon Crinkle Cookies and after I realized how easy that recipe really is I decided that I had to try some new twists on that delicious treat. I have added soda to my baking recipes and marinades before so I know how much they can really give recipes that extra flavor so for my special dessert for Girl’s Night In I made some 7UP Strawberry Crinkle Cookies. Not only are they delicious and super moist but they are really easy and add a cute little feminine touch with the pink color. FUN!!

For our Girl’s Night In we enjoyed these crinkle cookies with a side of fresh strawberries – balance is good in life, yes even for Girl’s Night. I got so many compliments on these cookies that now I am ready to try all kinds of flavors. 7UP really makes these cookies even better. Next on my list, orange supreme boxed cake mix and 7UP!! YUM!!
Okay, so I shared the treat for Think Pink Girl’s Night In, now it is time to think about drinks! Look, most of the time people bring their own beverages to these little gatherings because everyone has a different taste or preference but I also wanted to have something on hand that was refreshing and fitting for our Think Pink theme. I absolutely love the way these 7UP® Strawberry Fizz drinks turned out.
7UP® Strawberry Fizz
Ingredients:
7UP®, chilled
Fresh strawberries, sliced
Directions:
1. Clean and slice strawberries.
2. Pour 7UP® into fancy glasses as your guests are ready to enjoy the drink.
3. Carefully drop sliced strawberries into the 7UP®.
4. Enjoy, chilled!
Now, if you and your ladies would like to, you could also add some adult beverage to this drink. I liked the 7UP Strawberry Fizz alone because it was sweet but not too sweet and the addition of fresh strawberries really made it the perfect drink. Oh and don’t they look pretty? Perfect for a Girl’s Night In!!
You can pick up all of these items at your local Walmart. Make sure you also pick up some fun table decorations to add a little extra to this fun Think Pink Girl’s Night In. It is really amazing how much themed napkins, plates, cups and table coverings can really add to your party.
