Meet Lunii, My Fabulous Storyteller
In today’s age of everything with a screen we are trying to find a great balance of screen time for both of our kids. Right now it is a bit easier with Jude because he has found a joy of reading and if he has a book that he is really into, he can read for hours. But with Teagan, who is still learning to read, we find that she grabs her tablet more often than Jude does. We are blessed with very creative and imaginative children and we want to keep those characteristics thriving that is why when we were first introduced to Lunii, My Fabulous Storyteller we were so excited to see Teagan light up with excitement.
What is Lunii, My Fabulous Storyteller?
Lunii is a fabulous storyteller that grows a child’s imagination! A toy for 3-7 years old, offers a new magical experience of storytelling. To craft his/her stories, the child selects the Luniis: a hero, a place, a character and an object that magically appear between the dials. Then, the storyteller starts the tale and his/her imagination runs stronger!
Why Teagan Loves My Fabulous Storyteller?
Teagan loves having stories read to her but the My Fabulous Storyteller allows her to create her own stories and then hearing those stories read to her. This helps her develop her imagination and create funny and original stories. Teagan loves sharing her stories with us all or if she needs some quiet time she can simply put on her earphones and listen that way. Not only is the My Fabulous Storyteller durable for my crazy little lady but it is super easy for her to use. Once we explained how to choose her hero, place, character and object she was able to do this all on her own.
Teagan is 5, this really is a perfect device for her age. Since she has been using My Fabulous Storyteller I feel like she is even more eager to learn how to read.
As summertime approaches I see us using Lunii My Fabulous Storyteller on our summertime road trips. Look, we usually allow the kids to watch movies on those trips but how fun would it be to take some time on those trips to have each of us create our own stories? I can already imagine the fun! And again, while Jude is reading his books, Teagan can simply plug in her earphones and quietly listen to her original stories. I am ready for a road trip now!
Each Lunii, My Fabulous Storyteller comes loaded with 48 original stories but there is also Lunii Store which has a number of different story packs to add to your My Fabulous Storyteller library. This means the fun will go on for a long time! These packs have different sizes, different themes and target more precisely the age of the child. Perfect!
About The Creators:
Lunii was created and developed by four entrepreneurs under 30 years: Maelle, Igor, Thomas and Eric. The project was born with Maëlle studies in Strate, design school, after writing a thesis on the Imaginary. The four friends decided to continue the adventure by building a business around the fabulous storyteller and the imaginary. Lunii was officially born.
With the support from the Cube, a center for digital creation and Strate, Lunii obtained financing of the first prototypes by the Region Ile de France and Cap Digital for the innovation festival “Futur en Seine” where the project gain the Prize Public!
Since then the team is mobilizing itself to give life to Lunii and make themselves known, by participating in events like the Festival of Science at the cite des Science et de l’Industrie.
In Lunii, we all share a passion for the imagination, innovation, disruptive projects and anything that can make the world a better place.

Looks amazing right? This is such a great concept and we have enjoyed watching Teagan create her own stories and then having the whole family listen to those stories come to life.
