Snazaroo™  Brush Pen

Snazaroo™ Brush Pen is a handy easy to use two-in-one product that features a brush applicator and high-quality liquid face paint.  The liquid paint is fragrance and paraben free making it safe for any application and perfect for sensitive skin. Snazaroo™ Brush Pens come in 12 colors and available in five different themed packs for a suggested retail price of $9.99. One of the best things about using a Snazaroo™ Brush Pen is that it uses a twist-action design, like concealer, allowing the paint to be delivered to the brush tip in controllable amounts, making it completely mess free!

We used the Fantasy themed pack for Teagan’s butterfly.  I wish I could say that I am an artist but I am not.  But surprisingly this face paint was so easy to apply because of the brush applicator.  I think the butterfly turned out great.  After I saw how easy the Snazaroo™Brush Pen was to use I let Teagan draw on her arms.  It was a lot of fun and guess what?  NO MESS!  Moms around the world rejoice!  Jude also let us draw a Pokeball on his cheek, it was a fun little activity.  And because my kids have really sensitive skin I did not have to worry about this face paint hurting their skin.

I have never been one to do face painting at the kid’s birthday parties but now that I see how easy it can be done, I might consider adding  Snazaroo™ Brush Pens to our birthday party plans from now on.  Head over to Amazon or the Snazaroo website to purchase your own  Snazaroo™ Brush Pens!

Jane M. Rose-Vallee Books – Dinosaurs Living in My Hair & Dinosaurs Living in My Hair 2

I wish I could tell you how many books we buy every month but that is impossible because we buy loads of them.  This is one area in our budget that I am not ashamed of, I will continue to buy books for the kids until they are adults because it promotes reading.  Thankfully, both Jude and Teagan love reading so it is not a battle in our home, in fact going to the library or book story is something that they both look forward too.  So fun.  Finding new books for the two of them to enjoy is always fun too.  Our new favorite is the Dinosaurs Living In My Hair books.  I am always looking for children’s books about inclusion and books that teach great life characteristics and lessons.

Dinosaurs Living In My Hair is a series of beautiful, award-winning children’s books that encourages children to color outside-the-lines and embrace their creative, imaginative spirit. The moment the kids started reading these books they were engaged with the poetic rhyming and whimsical illustrations.  These stories hold a great message about being yourself and loving what makes you different. The first book introduces Sabrina, a funny little girl with crazy curls whose imagination runs rampant when she imagines dinosaurs living in her hair.  The story shares her struggle with taming her crazy curls.  In the second story, we are introduced to Sabrina’s friends, who also have curly hair, and see how a bully can create companionship between friends.

While these stories were a bit hard for Teagan to read on her own I absolutely love reading them to her.  I know how important this message is for kids.  Both Jude and Teagan have commented multiple times about how they love the illustrations in the books.

You can find these fun books at DinosaursLivinginMyHair.com, and use FREESHIP to get free shipping!

PEZ Jurassic World Collection

PEZ candy has always been a favorite in our family.  Hey, even one of mine.  I love collecting the different themed PEZ dispensers and letting the kids pick out new ones when we see them.  Such a simple treat but something the makes everyone smile.  PEZ is launching a new Jurassic World Collection with three new dispensers: T-Rex, Blue the Raptor, and Dilophosaurus in anticipation of the upcoming theatrical release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.  In June, PEZ will release a Jurassic World Click & Play Gift Tin with four dispensers (plus refills) featuring: Blue the Raptor, T-Rex, Triceratops, and Mosasaurus. Each of the dispenser tops can be removed from its base to play along in an interactive and fun board game within each gift tin.

Jude loved Blue the Raptor.  Will filled up his dispenser with his favorite PEZ candy and off he went, acting like a Raptor and running around the yard.  Maybe why I love PEZ candy so much is because it can be portable with a side of fun.   I already know we will be getting that tin in June for Jude’s birthday, what a creative gift idea for those dinosaur lovers like Jude.

Sprout Crispy Chews

We are a family that seems to be on-the-go a lot which means we have to have easy but nutritious snacks to bring along for the ride.  That’s why we love Sprout.  Sprout makes premium organic foods for babies and toddlers that help parents raise healthy, adventurous eaters.  Now, my kids are no longer babies or toddlers but the fact is, my kids like the products that Sprout makes so I keep buying them.

I am excited to share the Sprout Crispy Chews and let you know that both of my kids LOVE them.  They come in two flavors; Orchard Fruit & Carrot (NEW) and Red Fruit Beet & Berry – plant powered food!  YUM!  While they like both of them, my favorite is the Red Fruit Beet & Berry!  SO GOOD!  Each clear, single serving pouch is made with a full serving of REAL fruits & veggies.  MOM WIN!

Zenni Optical Kids Glasses

Teagan has been wearing glasses for close to a year now.  She mostly wears them to school but then when she is at home she takes them off, especially when she is playing.  Her current glasses fit well but we have had to replace them once already due to them getting sat on.  So frustrating but the fact is, kids are rough and wild.  Expecting them to keep glasses perfect and unbroken is actually a tough task for them.

Zenni sent us a sample of the Kid’s Flexible Glasses for toddlers to pre-teens and I am sold.  I know Teagan will be wearing glasses for the rest of her life and I want to makes sure that we find her perfect pair.  Zenni Kids’ Flexible Glasses are made for kids and designed for some serious play; no hinges, no metal parts and an adjustable/detachable strap.  After learning more about this brand of glasses, we saw that they have so many great colors and designs for the kids.  What a great concept for kids who need glasses.  We will be hitting up Zenni this summer when it is time for Teagan’s new glasses prescription!

These products look like they are really fun for kids. I loved books when I was young. I can’t imagine how much they have improved over the years. We didn’t do face paint but we painted with water colors and they weren’t too messy.
These items would make great Christmas or birthday gifts for kids.

Those face paint pens sound super fun! I would have been all over those as a kid (and now, to be honest). I might pick up a pack for Halloween costume purposes this year since they seem easy to apply!

I always like the items that are curated in Babbleboxx. They are all quality and neat items that are useful! I can’t decide what I like the best that you received in your box.

I just want to say, parents like you are amazing and inspiring. Buying your children books constantly and supporting reading is very important. Also, I think those Zenni glasses are brilliant, one time when I was in middle school I was hit in the face with a basketball. The ball cracked my glasses right in the center and then I went a few years wearing contacts because I thought glasses weren’t the best choice.

Oh my goodness! I am loving the kids glasses from Zenni! Unbreakable is perfect for the little ones! The brush pens look so fun and we all love pez! I need to look for the crispy chews too! Thank you for so many great spring time ideas!

I have to say your kids are very lucky to have a Mom like yourself. I think it is great that you have such fun activities to keep them occupied whether it is nice out or not. These products all look like great ways to keep them entertained.

What a great spring box for the kids! We have crazy weather here in the northeast too so I feel your pain of snow then 80 degrees. I think my favorite is the Snazaroo™ Brush Pen, who doesn’t love to draw on their skin! These items will all give the kids some fun activity time on those indoor days!
