Disclosure:  My family and I were guests of Christmas in Color.  No other compensation has been provided.

Experience Christmas like never before, right from the comforts and warmth of your car!   Christmas In Color has made its way to Colorado and here is why we loved our experience.

Christmas in color, what is christmas in color, christmas in color colorado, visiting christmas in color

What Is Christmas In Color?

Load up your friends and family into the van (or car, or truck) and experience Christmas like never before. Drive through acres of more than 1.5 million lights perfectly synchronized to holiday music you’ll hear right through your radio. You’ll drive by giant candy canes, snowmen, arched pathways and more. It’s like being immersed in another world. In fact, we won’t judge you if you join the kids with your face pressed against the window.

With so many incredible attractions and acres of land to view, you’ll want to take your time driving through this Winter Wonderland. And starting at $25 per car, this is sure to become an instant family Christmas tradition. The price does not increase by the people in your car, so the more the merrier (just keep it legal).

Locations currently include Federal Heights, Colorado; Goodyear, Arizona; Provo, Utah; and South Jordan, Utah.  Check website for prices, dates and hours.

Why We Loved Our Visit To Christmas in Color

Our visit was delayed a bit to some crazy Colorado weather – nope not snow – WIND.  The wind ruined the display so Christmas in Color had to be redone and closed for a few days.  Once we were able to reschedule our visit we were ready to head over to Christmas in Color Federal Heights, Colorado.  For those in the area, this experience takes place in the Water World parking lot.

We decided to load up our car with the kids but also invite my parents.  I loved this option.  The price of admission is just one set fee per car, doesn’t matter how many people are in the car!  And lucky for us, the location is super close to our home.  Once we knew when the display would be reopened we scheduled our time slot – 30 minutes and planned for a fun evening with Grandma and Grandpa.

Our time was between 6:30-7:00pm.  We pulled up to the entrance at 6:25pm and got into the queue.  This was so easy to do with our pre-paid ticket.  Keep in mind, you can make your reservations online or you can just pay when you get there as well.  Once we drove up to the entrance we could tell it was going to be amazing.  So many colorful moving lights.

Once it was our turn to begin our journey through Christmas In Color we turned off our lights and dialed into the radio station and started listing to the festive music and seeing the lights dance accordingly to the music in our car.  It was pretty impressive.  We slowly made our way through the track and enjoyed every moment of it.

So why did we love our experience?  The creativity of Christmas in Color was amazing, this truly was a perfect holiday experience for any personality and age.  In addition to enjoying the lights we were able to enjoy some of our favorite holiday music.  But probably what was the best part about this experience was that we were all able to be in our car, enjoying one another’s company with out having to worry about being freezing!  It was so pleasant and fun to just drive though this display without having to get all bundled up.

I can honestly say that visit Christmas in Color will now be added to one of our many holiday traditions we enjoy with the kids.  I cannot wait to see what they create next year!
