I love this time of the year.  It is time for fall festivals, pumpkin patches, sweatshirt weather and pumpkin spice everything!  One tradition that we have always done as a family since having kids is going to a local pumpkin patch and fall festival.  We are really lucky here in Denver, there are so many options.  We have been to a number of the patches around the area and all of them are fantastic. As you start planning your fall activities with your family make sure you check out some of these great Pumpkin Patches Around Denver Colorado.

Must Visit Pumpkin Patches Around Colorado

Anderson Farms in Erie Colorado. Anderson Farms is one of the best patches and fall festivals we have visited over the years. Our kids love all of the great activities. Home of Colorado’s Longest-Running Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. Fall Festival/Patch will return September 25th – November 3rd.  Also available on the farm: Terror in the Corn and Zombie Paintball Hunt.

Miller Farms in Platteville Colorado. Harvest potatoes, carrots and other vegetables, take a hayride through 180 acres of field, have a picnic and taste some delicious snacks. Pumpkins are also available at this farm. A huge playground and tons of unique landmarks to check out with the family. This is a working farm. Fall Harvest Festival begins after Labor Day and continues through November 9am-6pm daily.

Rock Creek Farms in Broomfield Colorado. Rock Creek Farm is one of the largest Halloween attractions in northern Colorado and admission is always free. Pumpkins aren’t where the fun stops, try our hay bale maze or get lost in the winding paths of over six miles of Corn Mazes. A great variety of activities, caramel apples, and Halloween fun for all ages! Fall festival is now open.

Cotton Wood Farm in Boulder Colorado. Open every day September 21 – October 31, 10 AM to 6 PM.  This family farm located just east of Boulder, selling pumpkins and fall produce. Come play in the corn or straw bale maze, and see farm animals and tractors. The only activity that is an extra charge for is the wagon ride, which is available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch in Longmont Colorado. October Pumpkin Carnival is open weekends in October. Celebrating the harvest, the joy of autumn and TONS of PUMPKINS! The Festival caters to young children, and adults who still want to play; enjoy the Colorado autumn days with lots of fun for everyone. There is no entry fee onto the grounds and parking is free. Weekend activities are offered on a PAY PER ACTIVITY basis.

Mile High Farms in Bennett Colorado.   Great place for the whole family but unfortunately the crazy hail this summer means they will not be open for the 2019 season.

Colorado Pumpkin Patch in Castle Rock Colorado.  Open through October 31st. Voted in the top 20 Best Places to take your kids 3 years in a row. Come see why and climb on the straw bale pyramid, play in the rope maze, target shoot at gourds, visit the petting zoo, take a pony ride, enjoy a hay ride, play in the corn box, and don’t forget to pick out your pumpkins!  S many activities for all ages.

Maize In The City in Thornton Colorado. Open daily starting in late September & goes through the end of October. Includes the maze as well as the pumpkin patch.
