Confession, I love the candy conversation hearts.  I have no idea why because the chalky texture and minimal taste doesn’t seem real appealing but every year, I have to have buy a bag of them.  Well, this year, I decided I would take a little inspiration from my favorite Valentine candies and create a delicious Valentine’s Day dessert to enjoy with the kiddos.

General Tips For Creating Conversation Hearts Chocolate Covered Strawberries

  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry, that will help the dipping go a lot smoother
  • Some black or red icing might work better than the marker – the candy covering on the strawberries made the marker not work as well as I had hoped.
  • Using colored melting candies will cut down on the mess.
  • Don’t over dip!
