I really love fudge – chocolate, chocolate with nuts and of course, Peanut Butter! It isn’t the holiday season without these perfect bite size treats around the house. My aunt is a fudge master but I have not reached that level so I still need some easy fudge recipes to hold me over until I get to enjoy the fudge she makes.
2 Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge
Is this an easy fudge recipe?
Thankfully, I am not the only one that isn’t a fudge master because SOMEONE has come up with the perfect way to enjoy that yummy seasonal treat with just TWO ingredients and a few minutes! Yes, just a few minutes. Crazy right? The first time I tried a 2 ingredient fudge recipe I was really skeptical, how is this even possible…but it works!!
I love 2 ingredient recipes and have shared a few before. It always brings me such excitement to see how 2 items can be turned into something delicious and enjoyable.
Ingredients:
1 container of Vanilla frosting – NOT whipped or cream cheese
16 ounces of Creamy Peanut Butter
Directions:
1. Line a 9×9 glass baking pan with foil or parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a medium microwave safe bowl empty both the frosting and peanut butter.
3. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir with spatula to completely combine frosting and peanut butter.
4. Microwave on high for 1 more minute. Remove from microwave and stir again.
5. Pour mixture into lined baking pan and smooth out.
6. Cover dish with foil or lid and place in refrigerator until hardened – about 30 minutes.
7. Once hardened, remove cover and slice fudge into bite size pieces for serving.
Perfect for more than one reason; this is a 2 ingredient recipe, takes minutes, is delicious and plates well. This is so creamy and full of that delicious peanut butter flavor we all love.
