They’re BACK!!! Yes, friends. Those crazy elves have been in our house for the last week having some fun with the kids. Peppermint and Cupcake have been busy so far this season and we are having some fun with them this year. But, the fact is….we do not have time to stress about these crazy Elves so we always go easy for the Elf on the Shelf ideas.
Check out these super easy Elf on the Shelf Ideas!
Elf On The Shelf – Easy Ideas For Busy Parents
Ornament Delivery –
The elves decided to bring the family ornament for the tree. This is a great idea because it is super easy to add this little piece to your tradition of your family ornament.
Decorated Tree –
Peppermint and Cupcake have been busy this year. They surprised the kids by putting up the Christmas tree and getting the lights strung. This meant that when the kids woke up on Saturday morning, they were able to dig right into the ornaments and get decorating! Now, I wouldn’t consider this super easy because we obviously were up late getting the tree up in the living room, but it would have had to be done eventually anyway sooo we adding a little fun to it this year.
Hanging in the Tree –
Peppermint and Cupcake approved of the beautiful decorated tree so they decided to hang out in it.
Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree –
Such creative elves we have! They built a candy Christmas Tree on the kitchen table. Thankfully the cats didn’t mess this one up! HA!! The kids really liked this one! Need to figure out what to do for a star next year though.
Going for a ride –
So this is a new one for us. I saw this on a friend’s instagram and thought this was a great idea!! We put Peppermint and Cupcake into the car the evening before and buckled them up. When the kids got up the next morning they were in a panic! WHERE ARE THEY??? We settled them down and finally got them ready for school. When we got in the car, they lost their minds! I loved this one!
Snuggled in the Stockings –
Another super easy idea for those rushed evenings. Peppermint and Cupcake settled into Jude and Teagan’s stockings on a cold winter evening. So cozy!
Breakfast is Served –
Oh these Elves! They made breakfast…with a lot of SUGAR! Snowmen donuts topped with M&Ms and chocolate chips! What a special treat!!
Well, they are back and we are going strong! Ready for a few more weeks with our special little friends from the North Pole.

Great ideas for getting the tree ready for the little ones. Ornaments, hot chocolate and a great Christmas CD make for a great decorating party.
Great ideas! I know I would have loved doing this for my kids but I can understand how stressful it might be.
