Homemade Non-Toxic DIY Spider Repellent
I don’t know about you but I am sure finding a lot of creepy crawly spiders in my house. I blame the crazy Colorado winter and lets be real, my house is pretty cool. Hey, I love visitors in my super cool home but NOT these visitors. I needed to find a way to get these little guys to stay away and BE GONE but I wanted to do it with out chemicals because of the kids and the cats. I started doing some research and found out that spiders are not a fan of peppermint or soap! Boom! This I can create!

What you will need:
15 drops Peppermint Oil
1 tsp Dish Soap (free and clear)
Water
Water
Adorable Spider Repellent printable
Directions:
1. Add tsp of free and clear dish soap to the spray bottle.
2. Add 15 drops of peppermint oil to the spray bottle.
3. Fill the rest of the bottle with water.
4. Shake carefully to completely combine mixture.
5. Add free spider repellent printable to bottle.
6. Spray the Spider Repellent along the edges of your home. Finding cracks that they may want to come in through. Remember – since this is an all natural spray you can spray outside of your home as well as inside your home.

We don't have a spider problem but we do have an ant problem in the summer. they are annoying little buggers.

I was also wondering what size the spray bottle is – I can't tell from the picture.
I have a 2 year old and I keep finding little spider bites on him and finding spiders in his room. would it be okay to spray this on his pillows, and sheets?

why is the soap needed? if they don't like the EO, do we need the soap?

It is VERY effective! I have not seen one spider since I sprayed this. I just reapply every few weeks.

Sounds great, but have always been told essential oils need to go in glass bottles.
