When the kids and I had the opportunity to head up to Estes Park for a weekend at the YMCA of the Rockies, I knew I would need to be prepared for some winter driving conditions. Toyota jumped in and let me test drive the all new 2021 Toyota Venza Limited. Not only did this car get us to our mountain destination safely but it drove like a dream.

Introducing The 2021 Toyota Venza Limited
Here in Colorado, you never know what the weather will end up being for that trip you have been planning for months so you just need to be prepared for whatever you drive into. Last weekend the kids and I went to the mountains and lucky for us it was a snowy and SUPER cold weekend.
This kind of weather is perfect for getting cozy in our cabin and enjoying the quiet mountains but driving in that kind of weather is not my favorite thing to do. Toyota is a brand of car that I trust and enjoy driving – mostly because I know the safety features are updated and perfect for my family to get to our destination safely!
Road Trip Fun
For about a year now, the only traveling we have done as a family is in a car. We are getting to be Road Trip Pros!! No matter where we are headed I know that my kids are going to bring a lot of THINGS and need to be comfortable along the way. The Toyota Venza is not only a pretty and updated car but it is comfortable to travel in.
This is a smaller car than what I drive on a daily basis but for our short weekend road trip this car gave the three of us just enough room. To be honest, the storage space was super tight with the suitcase, food and cooler but we made it work! When the kids got into the car they both commented on how comfortable the seat was so I knew they would have a nice ride up the hill!
Making Memories and Enjoying Traditions
You have probably read about our adventures at the YMCA of the Rockies and if you haven’t now is your chance. This destination is the perfect getaway for us. It is a space that the kids enjoy and look forward to visiting and it is a space that I am comfortable with traveling to on my own with the kids.
Now that I have a handful of road trip options that I am comfortable with traveling alone with the kids to, you better believe I am always making sure that the car we drive to those destinations work for us but will get us to our fun safe and sound. Mountain driving can be difficult depending on the weather but even on the icy roads the Venza did great.

Let’s Go Places – Family Travel
This car was so fun! Not only was it super updated and sleek inside but all of the great features like the USB charge ports and Apple CarPlay made our road trip even better! I loved the Fuel economy as well, whenever I am able to buy a new car I will be looking for a car with the Hybrid system for sure! Loved the different drive modes! Driving should be fun…safely!
I do not have anything bad to say about my experience with the Toyota Venza except that I wish the cargo space was a bit larger for family travel. Other than that, this car was fun to drive and had all of the features my family would need in a daily use car. One thing that the kids and I both noticed was how quiet this car was. Quiet on the inside and the outside and with the All-Wheel drive it was a perfect car for the weather we were dealing with on our weekend trip.
