Well hello month eight! Stitch Fix has become a routine in my life and I am still loving it. For this fix I decided to ask for items to add to my suitcase for our spring break trip to Arizona. I knew it would be nice to have some summer items for our trip but also to add to my closet for when the weather finally warms up here in Colorado. I also asked for a dress for Easter since we would be in Arizona for that holiday as well. My stylist did a great job once again! Thank you Jess!
When I opened my fix I went to Instagram and shared my fix items on instastories with my followers and asked their opinions. It was really interesting to see what everyone voted for me to keep and send back! I will try to do that from now on, I love getting opinions, so make sure you keep up to date on my Instagram to see my fixes when they come in! Okay, and now for the big reveal for my March fix!
My Eighth Stitch Fix – Plus Size Fashion
Item 1 – Skies are Blue – Bradie Embroidery Front Knit Top
It is kind of hard to tell from this bright outdoor photo but this top is navy. It is flowy and comfortable. The knit material makes this is a perfect hot day top but can be worn with a cardigan and jeans for a dressier look. I really like the detail on top and it fit our Arizona trip perfectly. This top is a size 3x and it fits pretty great, the arm holes are a bit big but with the right bra it works okay for me. This top retails at $54.00.
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 2 – Renee C – Dangelo Keyhole Detail Top
Okay this shirt was the first thing that I wanted to try on when I opened my fix. It was bright, colorful, flowy and so different than any other summer top I have owned. This is why I love Stitch Fix, they help me go out of my normal and it works!! This material is a bit see through so it does need a cami under it but it really is a fun shirt for spring and summertime. I especially love the keyhole and neckline cut. This is a 3x and because this material is not stretchy it fit well. I feel comfortable in it and can’t wait to finally see summer here in Colorado so I can wear it! HA! This top retails at $44.00.
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 3 – Slink – Helene Capri Skinny Jean
I am not a shorts gal. I wear jeans, leggings or capris through out the summer. So when I saw these jean capris in my fix I was excited to give them a go. I really enjoyed the dark wash of these capris and the fit was great. Nice and stretchy but held it all together. ha! The only thing I did not like was where the capri hit on my leg. It felt like I needed them to be a bit longer or a bit shorter. While the 24 fit well and the price tag of $68.00 was on budget I just did not like the feeling on my leg where the capri hit. So bummed!
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 4 – Love. Life. Live. – Tara Cargo Capri Straight Leg Pant
Okay I said I wanted to go out of my comfort zone but to be honest it took a lot for me to put these cargo pants on for a picture. First of all the olive green is not my color choice at all and the odd non forgiving material made these pants so scary to me! But, with a little push from Teagan, my little fashionista, I put them on. Now, they are not as bad as I was expecting but they were not my favorite. Sure they were comfortable the color was not for me and I felt super self consciousness in them. Size 3x was a good fit as they were just an elastic waistband. At $50.00, these pants were really a great deal.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 5 – Market & Spruce – Auria Embroidered Dress
I asked for a dress for Easter so when I tried this one on I knew it would be perfect! I had some dress requests that included a length that was at least knee length. My stylist knocked it out of the park with this one. This dress has some great detail and can be worn with sandals or flats. I loved that it has some structure around the waist too. This dress is dressy but I feel comfortable in it. This is a size 3x, the arm holes are a bit big but with a nude bra I made it work for Easter. At $74.00 it was a little pricey but I just loved it too much to send back!
Verdict – KEPT!

My favorite outfit here is that dress, so I’m glad you kept it :). I have never used Stitch Fix but I’m glad to hear that they have plus sizes too, as I am plus size (size 18-20 or so pants and like XL shirt). A lot of my blogger friends usually use it and they seem to enjoy it.
I liked the AURIA Embroidered dress. It suits you.
I have a few friends that buy clothes from Stitch Fix. I have never tried it. I’m not one to order clothes online, I just have the worst luck when it comes to sizing. I’m an odd shape and short.
I really like the items you picked out and received. Both single tops, the feathers, and the embroidery are quite lovely shirts. For the summer, I am on the hunt for some neutral coloured capris, I would like to have both fit and relaxed styles.
I really want to try this! There are so many great options when you have a personal stylist that really knows you. I’d love to see if I can find something new for Mom 2.0!
