I am feeling really behind on sharing my fixes with you all. So, in full disclosure, this fix is nearly 2 months old! Yikes! Let’s get to it! So, for this particular fix I asked for items to bring to the Mom 2.0 summit in Pasadena California in May. I asked for items that I could wear in the sessions but also for the fun events after the sessions. Since Stitch Fix was going to be a sponsor of one of the parties, you better believe I wanted to show off my favorite Stitch Fix items.
This marks my Ninth fix and once again my stylist hit it out of the park!! Some of you may have seen these items already on my unboxing and Stitch Fix fashion show on my Instastories. Every month I share what I get in my fix and I let my followers vote if I should keep the items or not. Join us next month, it is a lot of fun!
My Ninth Stitch Fix – Plus Size Fashion
Item 1 – Pixley – Millie Textured Knit Dress
When I first opened my fix I saw the navy knit dress and wondered what my stylist was thinking! HA! In full honesty I totally thought this dress looked like something for an older women but once I put it on I was in LOVE! The fabric was perfect, a good stretch but with enough structure to keep it all together. And the texture gives this dress some depth. I can dress this up or wear it to the park too! But the part I love the most is the back cut out. It not only shows my motherhood tattoo perfectly but it adds so much to this simple dress. This is a size 3x and fits perfectly. It retails at $58.00 – a steal in my opinion!
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 2 – Calvin Klein – Annamarie Ruffle Detail Blouse
Okay friends, when I shared this photo on my instastories pretty much everyone said “Send Back”. I was so sad because I LOVED THIS TOP!! Now, why did I love this top? The color, the simple details and the cut. I felt great in this top. Yes, there is not much shape to it but I thought it was perfect for spring and summer. I knew it was a blouse that I could wear for all kinds of occasions. This is a 3x and it is a bit big on me but it works well. This blouse retails at $88.00. A bit steep for my liking but I did cave and buy it.
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 3 – Gilli – Kodi Jersey Maxi Dress
One of the big events at the Mom 2.0 Summit was a Poolside party for dinner and mingling, this happened to be sponsored by Stitch Fix so when I requested my fix I specifically asked for a nice “poolside” dress to wear to this even. I was so happy when I saw this maxi dress. I love Maxi dresses and wear them a lot during the summer. They are very comfortable in my opinion. The brightly colored and fun patterned dress is perfect for summertime parties. I love the cut of the sleeves and neckline too…a bit different than a traditional maxi dress. This dress retails at $68.00 and is a 3x.
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 4 – Collective Concepts – Shandler Split Neck Blouse
I would consider this blouse a perfect blouse. It is a great time capsule item, it was perfect for my conference but also comfortable enough to wear on a relaxing weekend day. At $48.00 it is a great item to add to my closet for all seasons. This is a 3x and it fit perfectly.
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 5 – Bancroft – Logan Rhinestone Hammered Teardrop Earrings
I am not a big dangly earring gal anymore. Although these earrings were beautiful and would have gone perfectly with my maxi dress they were not my style. These earrings retail at $28.00. A bit pricey for earrings I know I wouldn’t wear often.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
There you have it! My Ninth Fix! It was a great one and I love that I was able to wear a few of my new items to the Mom 2.0 Summit. Check out that Pink blouse! So fun for a California conference!
And while my Maxi dress was perfect for a poolside party, the California weather had other plans. Thankfully I had a nice navy cardigan to add to my outfit so I could still wear this beautiful maxi dress to the Stitch Fix sponsored event! It was such a fun evening and I loved seeing so many people wearing their Stitch Fix outfits and dresses.

Very nice and I too use Stitch Fix. Agreed my stylist sent a turquois dress with a pretty large design and I thought no way that will go back. However tried it on and loved it. I have been unemployed for some time now and I was talking with my husband about our trip. He said shouldn’t you have a “box of clothes” coming. I replied that I had put it on hold due to the cost. He told me to start it up again because the clothes looked so nice on me!!! I thought he wasn’t paying attention!!! It is well worth the money. Love it.
