The big TEN!! How exciting. Today I am sharing my tenth Stitch Fix…maybe I have a mild obsession with this amazing personal style service but since I am able to admit that obsession I do not not think it is a problem. HA! For this fix I really did not ask for anything in particular, but I knew that with the summer season here that I would get some great summer pieces. Sure enough, my stylist came through with some great items for me to try.
Once again I made sure to share my fix on my Instastories and get your opinions by doing a poll for every item I got from this fix. It is so fun to see everyone’s votes on the items. It really does help me decide what to send back and keep from my fixes. Fix days are my favorite! Ready to see what surprises I got in my TENTH Stitch Fix?
My Tenth Stitch Fix – Plus Size Fashion
Item 1 – Pixley – Mollie Lattice Trim Knit Top
This top was so cute. I loved the lattice detail and the cut and shape of this top. It was something that I knew I could dress up or where on a Saturday while at home with the family. The texture was great too. However, the color is what made this top a bit question for me. WHITE! UGH! You could see my bra straps and with it being white I had to have a tank under it as it was a bit see through. This top was a 3x and it fit great. Coming in at $68.00 I had to say no. A bit pricey for something I had a lot of concerns about. If I could get it in a darker color I would probably buy it in a heartbeat!
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 2 – Makers – Maddox Cuffed Skinny Jean
A few fixes ago I got a pair of capri jeans and they fit great around the waist and thighs but they hit at a really weird spot on my calves. They were not very comfortable. This fix, my stylist found a nice pair of crop jeans that are perfect. Sure they are a bit long for those super hot days but they are great for evening events and dinners out with friends. I am so excited for these. My only complaint is that there is not much of a stretch to these at all. Oh man…not good fat day pants! ha! These retail at $48.00 so I could not pass up this deal!! HELLO!!
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 3 – 41 Hawthorn – Breyson Pleated Detail Blouse
Hello summer! When I first saw this great blouse I instantly felt like heading to the beach. I loved the floral pattern and the cut looked great. I was concerned at the red color but once I had that blouse on I did not want to take it off. It is light and flowy and absolutely perfect for those hot summer days. This can be dressed up too by adding a skirt or nice pants! This blouse is a 3x and retails at $54.00. Another great deal.
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 4 – Bancroft – Risor Wavy Metal Cuff
I must have big wrists because these actually hurt to get on. I did love the mix of Gold and Silver and fun wavy detail but did not like the pain or the marks left on my wrist after putting them on. These cuffs were $28.00.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 5 – Fun2Fun – Hudson Split Neck Blouse
This blouse was a great color and pattern. I was excited for this one but when I put it on I felt like it did not have any shape at all. In addition to that, the arm holes were so big! It was kind of odd. Anyway, this color and pattern is something I love and I made sure to tell my stylist that. This was a 3x and retailed at $44.00. Hoping to find another top like this with these great colors!
Verdict – SENT BACK!
