Yes number 18! I have been slacking about sharing my monthly fixes but I assure you, I have been getting them and loving them. Last month I cleaned out my closet and was able to make room for more Stitch Fix purchases too! So, Stitch Fix, keep the good stuff coming. After years of holding onto clothes that I thought I might wear again I decided it was time for a big purge. Now when I look through my closet I see mostly Stitch Fix items that I love wearing.
For this fix I did not specify anything that I really needed but I did make sure my measurements, preferences and style options were updated. Right now it is still pretty cold in Colorado but we are gearing up for some spring weather so having some updated pieces in my closet would be lovely! Ready to check out my February Stitch Fix??
My Eighteenth Stitch Fix – Plus Size Fashion
Item 1 – Gilli Shaniya Hooded Knit Top
I really loved the look and feel of this top. Having the hood was fun too. The print was super perfect for spring. While this top fit great I felt like it was way too long. It was almost like a tunic if I pulled it all the way down around my hips. I did not think it was very flattering. This was a size 3x and fit well except for the length. At $38.00 it was a steal!
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 2 – Junarose Pollie Button Down Tunic
When I opened my box I instantly fell in love with the navy and pink heart print on this tunic. This is a perfect top to pair with leggings for a dressier look. This is a see through top so a cami is necessary. I love this top because it can be perfect for all weather. This tunic is a size 24 and it fits perfectly. At $54.00 it was a bit steep for a top but I could not pass this tunic up!
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 3 – Rune Glynn Faux Leather Detail Moto Legging
I love black leggings and recently I have seen the leather detail leggings that women are wearing and I wondered if I could pull it off. My stylist thought I could and I gave it a go but I just going do it. These leggings were super high quality and really comfortable except for the detail around the knee…that was so uncomfortable and I would have been messing with it all the time. The leather was fun, if the detail around the knee wasn’t there, I would be rocking these leggings today! At $58.00 they were pricey but I know that the Rune brand is great quality. At a size 3x they fit great.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Item 4 – Urban Expressions Oriana Double Zip Work Satchel
This was the first time I was sent a hand bag and I was so happy! I love purses and I update mine often. Ironically the bag I had been carrying broke a few hours before opening my Stitch Fix box. Meant to be?? This mustard is a great color for winter/spring. I love that you can use it as a satchel or a handbag. Great for when I have the kids with me…hands free! This purse retails at $58.00. Great deal for such a beautiful handbag!
Verdict – KEPT!
Item 5 – Market & Spruce Jeannie Cold Shoulder Dress
Okay, I love the cold shoulder look. It might be my favorite dress shape now, I have a black one that I absolutely LOVE wearing. That being said, I was super excited to try this Teal Green dress. At a size 3x it fit well but it was a bit too short for my liking, honestly I do not wear dresses often at all so it is hard for me to justify adding another one to my closet. I thought that the top of this dress was really flattering but I was not a fan of what it did for my waist and stomach. This dress was $58.00.
Verdict – SENT BACK!
Well there you have it. Stitch Fix number 18 in the books!! What did you think? Anything that you hope to add to your closet this spring?
