Just like last month, I felt like it was fall the moment I opened my fix.  While I loved almost all of my items, unfortunately my budget has me limited.  But hey, that is life.  For this fix I asked my stylist for items to continue to build my colder weather closet and just like last month I was hoping for a pair of flair legged jeans – because, YAY they are in style again!!

Falling For Fall Fashion – September Stitch Fix

Item One – Ink Love & Peace Heatherly French Terry Knit Pull-Over

If you are like me, the season of fall means hoodie weather!!  My favorite!  This pull over was so comfortable and soft.  Talk about the perfect casual top for fall.  This was in a size 1x so it wasn’t super frumpy which I liked.  The color was a perfect dark green, again great for fall.  At $58.00 it wasn’t a terrible price for a hoodie BUT it was not very thick, meaning it wouldn’t last for those really cold days.

Verdict – SENT BACK!

Item Two – Pistola Heilyn High Rise Bootcut Jean

Well, they aren’t flair jeans BUT the bootcut was way larger than the normal jeggings I have been wearing for years.  It felt really good to step into a pair of jeans that covered my ankles, weird!  HA!  These were a great dark indigo so they were super flattering.  I did have my stylist size up to a 16 for this fix…ugh!  But you know, they fit fantastic.  Comfortable and flattering.  They are a bit pricey at $88.00.  I have not heard much about this brand of denim but these seemed very well made.

Verdict – KEPT!

Item Three – French Grey Leighton Dress

Okay, I loved this dress.  The print wasn’t may favorite and to be honest, I thought I would look terrible in it.  It was really comfortable and stretchy.  In a size 1x I do think it fit great but I felt like it was just a bit too short for a fall/winter dress.  The ruffle at the hem was so cute and fun.  This dress was $58.00.  Not a bad price for a dress.

Verdict – SENT BACK!

Item Four – Fate Dae Textured Pullover

From the minute I opened this fix I wanted this pullover.  I loved the textured look and the grey was a great fall option.  In a size 1x I believe it fit well and was really flattering.  It was a bit itchy and when I saw that it was hand wash only I was so bummed.  This pullover was $68.00…an investment piece.  This would be a perfect top with boots and jeans.

Verdict – SENT BACK!

Item Five – Papermoon Larie Tie Sleeve Blouse

This top was a perfect top for a more dressier occasion.  The tie sleeves were really fun and the navy color is one of my favorites.  I do think this top fit well in a 1x and at $44.00 it was a great deal.  I have a number of tops like this but working from home really limits the options to wear this kind of top.

Verdict – SENT BACK!

Another fix in the books!  While I only kept the jeans I did feel like this fix really matched my wants and style.  I am super excited for some cooler weather so I can wear my new jeans!
